Bought because we loved the pedestal design and compact style. It was a huge mistake. This relatively costly grill failed in less than a year. The equipment rails broke off and cooking on it was a nightmare due to constantly flaring up. Just bought a new grill and pushing this one to the curb for the garbage trick!

Damaged upon arrival

Delivered with giant dent in the lid, luckily on the back. However, this just another in a series of disappointing experiences with Lowes over the past several years. Maybe I’ll be able to get a discount, probably not….

Unfortunately didn’t work out

Unfortunately it’s either burning the steak or not cooking fast because the flame is so far away. No different than cooking in a pan. I really wanted to make it work as it looks very nice esthetically

Straightforward, cooks well, the stainless steel pieces will rust

I've had this grill outside maybe 3-4 years now. It's holding up well, the painted parts are in good shape, but the stainless brushed pieces are low quality and rusting. I didn't have a cover, so I'd recommend a cover.

I would not buy this grill again.

The grill/propane tank started a fire and burned the back of my house. I won't know the cause of the fire until the investigation is completed.

Doesn't last

I had this grill only 2 years before it broke. It rusted a good deal even though it is covered all the time. The burners suddenly only work with a very low flame even when set to high. Very disappointing. I loved this grill initially, the size & color were perfect but it's definitely not of good quality.

Dependable grill.

I bought this grill to replace the same grill I purchased in 2014. I use the grill 20 or so times a year for 10.5 years. Old grill began to rust at deflection plates and bottom, so purchased same type Kenmore 3 burner grill. We were satisfied with its performance.

The quality was good. The screws were machined so that all were easy to start and not strip. Good instructions. Product packaging highly engineered. An hour to unpack! Converted to natural gas with Permasteel PP-20300-NS 1/2-in Rubber Natural Gas Conversion Kit, which has the conversion natural gas nozzles to replace the propane nozzles. . Super fast delivery. Less than 36 hours from Texas to the west slope of Colorado.

No front opening tank door

The grill is very pretty - we selected the blue. We’ve used the grill once and food cooked evenly. I am just sorry we didn’t realize there was no front opening door to get to the propane tank to shut it off. I may have made a different choice.

Heat up quick, get hot, easy assembly. Don't like that one wheel if "fixed" and does not swivel.

Nice classy grill

Really like it. Love the color. Looks classy. Assembly had a couple of tricky parts, but I got it done by myself.

check the gas regulator/valve carefully for leaks

It took probably 2-3 hours to put together. However, I can't use it yet because something seems to be wrong with the gas line from the grill to the tank. I've tried two tanks (which work fine on my old grill, but there is a pretty major gas leak where the regulator screws into the tank. Something is wrong with the regulator. I've contacted the number in the manual (Permasteel is identified with that number) and as yet I've not gotten a call back. I assume you (Lowes) will not take on sendin...
