Super simple to install, no moving parts.

I really like this product. It is small, no hanging lever with a float ball or anything needed. It is quite and efficient. I was so impressed after installing it, I started shopping at Lowe's to see if I could find three more for future use. I had no luck at my local Lowe's, but got online and found Live Oak Lowe's had a number of them in stock, so I ordered them, received them and am a happy camper.

Quick and Easy Install

I was replacing this same type of fill valve previously installed a few years ago that was overfilling the tank and could no longer be adjusted. This valve is easy to install and took only 10 to 15 minutes without any tools required. We'll see how long it will last. For the price, I guess if I get 3 to four years out of it I'm OK with that.

Changes with the weather

This fill valve uses the pressure it senses from the water in the tank to determine when to shut off. The water pressure changes with air pressure. So, when it rains the water level goes up and maybe too high in the tank, and when the Barometer rising and it's nice outside the water level gets lower. As the valve ages the levels go up and down more and more. You end up adjusting the little turn valve to compensate. High maintenance. Not recommended unless you live in an area with very steady bar...

Worksed great for about two months, then never shuts off and slowly drains in the overflow no matter what the setting.

I was not happy with this product . I bought it to replace a similar fill valve which stopped filling as adjusted but then crept up to the top of the overflow tube and trickled into the bowl. This one filled to the setting but then when it crept up, it stopped at the top of the overflow but did not overflow. I’ve been using this product for many years. I found them to be easy to install, easy to adjust, and last what years.

Easy to set the water level.

This fill valve is hydrostatic so the water level is set by turning a screw. There are no floats, levers, or adjustments made by bending metal rods. It also allows a little more additional water volume in those eco-friendly, water starved toilets.

Excellent alternative to "standard" fill valves

I purchased this unit to replace an "aged" similar unit that's developed a slight case of "incontinence". I've used these things (different mfrs, same basic device) for years and have never had any real issues, other than they do "wear out" after a few years and many flush cycles (ESPECIALLY with children, before they eventually move out!). Based on Personal Experience, I make this "pre-installation" suggestion: BEFORE you install the valve, use a file to carve a VERY SHALLOW (less than 1/32" ...

Slow Leak

These valves never shut off completely. They will slowly keep filling the tank until it tops the overflow tube and drains into the bowl. I discovered this after my water bill doubled last month and I went searching for the leak. I had installed two, and they have both failed within a year. Looks like I'll have to replace them with a traditional float valve.

Toilet fill valve

This valve would not hold the water level. It would stop at the set point, then start slowly fill to the over fill tube. Tried many times to adjust, but it kept over filling. I had to return it. I have had these before and they worked great, but not this time.

Easy to install and works well. Stops the water level in the tank by water pressure.

Have these in other toilets. Hope this is just as reliable as the old ones. Easy adjustment for water level and not a lot of moving parts that fail.

Toilet Fill Valve

I've used these for years both at my home and my daughter's. Easy to install. They do wear out after a while, but all the others do also. Easy to adjust.

Good for the Short Term

About a year ago this was installed in my father's house. I just replaced it. It is super easy to install but seems to fail after a short period of time. The failure was the tank couldn't contain enough water to get the valve to shut from the pressure of the water. Now, I'm giving this product a second chance since I did not install the first one. If it fails after a year again I will never buy this product again nor will I recommend it. We shall see.
