Fell apart after 1 year

You might wonder how a stainless steel strainer can fall apart. Bad design or bad manufacturing. The large lock nut fell of due to inadequate threading on the strainer body. There was barely any thread on the body so the large lock nut fell right off. You might also think "maybe I overtightened it". I happened to have a spare new one that I didn't install in the other half of the sink and it had an equal amount of minimal threading. Doubt I can return them after 2 years but I will try as t...

Leaks

Bought these thinking they were halfway decent for the price open the package it had a paper ring in between the nut and the gasket first thing that did after I installed it according to directions with plumbers putty was tear in half at Lake like a sieve took the paper gasket off found my old Plastic ring installed it put glue on the sink side of the gasket tighten it up making sure I didn’t turn the drain it’s self just the knot and it sealed went to Lowe’s the next day looked at all their dra...

Buying this was the best decision.

I seen this before and how it works. It is the best stopper for sure. It takes the guess/aggravation out of it if it is in right to hold water. I will never get a reg. stopper again.

Plastic is ok for some drain parts, but the basket isn't one of them.

Drains slow and doesn't seal

This thing basically starts closing itself. Every few seconds when using the sink you have to unscrew it because it starts to close itself and drains very slow. I would rather stick my fingers in the gross trap when I'm done washing the dishes, not constantly during. Also, when I actually want to seal it, it doesn't seal all the way. Water still drains out.
