Would Not RecommendObviously not the quality of the past. Rod is not as ridged as it needs to be. Rubber caps are also too soft on didn't make it through one use. GreatStar International, a China-based hand tool manufacturer now making many of Jorgensen's clamps, is apparently not doing the company any favors!!

Great cheap clamps
Would RecommendNeeded a few of these for an extra hand while hanging boards outside by myself. Used these to set the boards up while I was nailing them in place and they worked out perfectly. So far so good, glad to have more clamps to use. All metal design, I like it better than the plastic housing ones people are trying to sell now.
