Instant Hot Water!

I know: I am spoiled. I had one of these in my former home and really missed having one when we moved. It's wonderful for pour-over coffee and saves time in heating water for pasta etc. I love it.

Warning - Faucet has short lifespan

Love the hot water, but the faucet broke within months and is now unusable and an eyesore.

GREAT PRODUCT

I already had the works (tubes, etc. to simply replace the tank, but I was not able to purchase just the tank!

works well for about 4 years

There is a 3 yr warrantee on this unit. My last unit lasted 3.5 years . I have been using Insinkerator instant hot devices for over 35 years . The heating unit used to last 7 years consistently . The last replacement before that broke after 5 years. There has been a downgrade in the life cycle of these instant hot units

Cheaply built

Top of tap has fallen apart only had it a couple of months, can't use

Make sure all the parts are there.

Love the product, but a part was missing and we had to go out and buy it.

Junk

I have gone through three of these hot water heaters and they all stopped working after a few months. What junk.

Love my instant hot water

I have been using In-Sink-Erator Hot Water Dispenser for 20 years and use it daily to get the hot water I need for cooking and especially for my morning cup of tea and instant oatmeal. When I needed to replace it, I couldn't wait for the new one to come in. I would not have been able to install it, but my son with plumbing experience had no trouble installing it.

Would Recommend

Apparently, hot water faucets are not as common as they used to be. Very glad our plumber found a replacement and the product has worked fine since installation.

Excellent product

We have had a insinkerator hot water tap for many years 20 at our last house and 14 in this house. We wore one out as we are retired we are home all day and using it everyday it finally wore out. We bought one immediately and had a plumber come that day. We were very spoiled with instant hot water for our tea and cooking cannot do without it.

works great for 8 to 10 years

We bought this latest Hop Water tap system to replace the previous system we purchased in 2014. We use this tap about 10 to 20 times a day and find it invaluable. The old instant hot water tank started leaking and having read many reviews we determined that the 10 year live we'd had with it was good.

Instant cocoa!

Having instant hot water is great. No microwave or stovetop to wait for the water to heat. The only part I don't like is the handle - it is hard to turn if my hand is wet. It needs to be square or have more pronounced ridges!

I chatted with a service representative before I bought this and I asked specifically if everything I need to install the unit is included in the box. I was told”yes” but the real answer is no.

I have own one of these instant hots in all three of the houses have own . Perfect for making a cup of tea or a coffee in the morning when your in a rush

Love this hot water dispenser

This is the third hot water dispenser I have purchased in a period of 24 years and all were Insinkerstors. The products have proven to be reliable. Life span is approximately 7-8 years.

Excellent and much-used product

I installed this hot water dispenser about eight months ago in place of a similar model that had stopped working. (I'm not sure how old the previous one was, but at least more than 7 years.) The instructions were pretty easy to understand, and the installation smoothly. We use this multiple times every day, and it continues to provide plenty of hot water when we need it.

Good product, sad parts availability

This hot water dispense is the third I purchase (they last about 10 years) and in each case I was able to open the tank and remove the defective part (tank) but the company does not provide for replacement parts, making the repair of this heater impossible. It would be much less costly if one could get at least the part most prone to failure, thus only 3 stars.
