Our second high-end Insinkerator disposal

We just moved and replaced the existing (and very old) garbage disposal with an Insinkerator Evolution Premier. It's our second high-end Insinkerator disposal and we bought because of its powerful motor, auto-reverse action, and amazing quietness. Expensive but very much worth the money.

Excellent product; exceeds expectations

I have a standard home installation, though I can't speak to ease of installation (I heard no complaints from the plumber). This product replaced a previous Insinkerator as part of a remodeling project. The improvements in 23 years are remarkable, especially the removable-for-cleaning food waster baffle. Very satisdield.

Glad I upgraded

- I acquired my original [bottom line] Badger disposal with a SS sink that was gifted to me. Before it failed it was installed in my home for about 8 years. It sat in a garage for at least a year previous to that and was in service for I don't know how long before that. The sink was in pristine condition so I don't think it was installed that long. Replaced a 10 year old insinkerator. The real question is, beside the name, is it as good as the previous one? Company's change owners, philosophy on quality vs profit, where manufactured, etc. The true proof will be if the replacement is as good as the old one. Will not know for 10 years. I like the way it works except for the amount of noise it makes much more than previous and sinker raiders and I have owned

A Rock star(touch wood)!

Got this back in Aug 2013 to replace an existing broken erator - which lasted about 7 years. I’m writing this review after 7 years of use. Absolutely works like a charm. Got jammed about 2 times in between and was able to reset it myself using simple instructions in user manual and some YouTube videos. This is a rock star! Would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a solid erator that does its job everyday and wants a peace of mind!

It's so quiet!

This new Insinkerator is quiet and I like the stainless steel inside. Hopefully no rust happening ever in there! I think the price is worth the quality, much better than previous builder grade disposals. Small issue with the rubber sink gasket, it is slow draining, seems like a new design that needs a new design. Wish I has saved my old one.

Powerful and quiet

We love our new Insinkerator in the kitchen. It is powerful, quiet and effective. Certainly, it is a big improvement over the previous one.

I actually like to hear the disposal as I can then tell when it’s done! This one is too quiet and much too expensive!
