Not long enough lasting
Would Not RecommendBought this about 4-5 years ago(not really sure about the exact time frame). Rusted through the bottom, which is the same as what was replaced before. Though, I'm not entirely certain it's not due to the corrosiveness of our water where we live. Either way, I would expect longer life from this product.

Badger 5 Half Horsepower Disposer Reinstall
Would RecommendBought this Badger 5 to replace the same model I've had for 8 years which began leaking water from the bottom. Quick and easy to reinstall as long as you use the existing upper sink ring already in place. Then you only have to attach the new unit and reattach the plumbing lines. Always try to replace the defective disposer with the same model to avoid having to do any replumbing. Quick and easy. Anyone can do it.

Well, I would say that the first time I installed a Badger Waste disposal was recommended by my plumber. Now, this is the second one installed and and I am very satisfied to do it. These are the best waste disposal that you can buy.
