This shouldn't be difficult

Considered buying this mower but not after reading the terrible reviews of this bagger system. Looks like I will be going John Deere again. Do better Husqvarna.

Bagger review

Gets clogged too easily

Grass Chute Clogs Easily

Assembly was simple and quick. However, slightly higher grass becomes easily clogged in the chute requiring a shut down of the machine and removal of clogged grass by hand. The connection between the collector's lower tube and the mower opening is not sealed enough to create a consistent flow of air into the bags. Full bag indicator has never moved even at initial start up.

2 diffrent clear cut assembly

The bagger states its for clear cut model. Apparently i have an older version that does not use the pull straps to hold in place. I have a bilted style mulch set up. So i had to modify the cutter attachment myself.

Great mower but terrible bagger

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most poorly engineered bagger I have ever seen.. Extremely difficult to install; so far unsucessful. May need a much bigger hammer. The shop where I bought it installed the bagger originally and it worked well. Loved the capacity and the full indicator. Took the bagger off and noted that it was difficult. Works pretty well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bagger comes partially assembled, the rest is really easy to put together. Works great for picking up leaves as well, works best at full throttle. Be careful not to over fill the bags or it can clog the chute. Was expensive, but is very solid and should last for many years.

Bagger not built for longevity.

After 2 years the cheap plastic latch on the bagger is broken and now I need to use a bungee cord to keep it closed when mowing. Rotten and cheap design. Doesn’t appear you can get parts for it either.

Never Again

Absolute waste of money. Clogs, blows belts, constant cover tightening.

Terrible bagger

The worst bagger I’ve ever owned. Who ever designed this never used it. The wing nuts broke in The first 12 months. The brackets are not strong enough to hold the bags and the shoot pulls out of the bagger. Cub cadet had an easy on/off strap. This is a nightmare to unhook and you have to jack up the mower to reach under the deck to unscrew the attachment. do not buy this product!

Not the best design.

The chute attachment is very hard to connect using the rubber straps. It took 2 of us to do it. Maybe the straps will loosen off a little as time goes by. The lid of the grass catcher does not open fully- it hits the back of the seat, so removing the bins is not easy. I needed this attachment to use the mower but it’s not the best I’ve had over the years.
