Would RecommendMost ceiling fans are note very nice to look at, to ugly. This one is better looking. It’s is way too bright- I don’t know what some people mean by too dim. I’ll be looking for some frosted bulbs in a lower wattage

I bought one last spring on clearance
Would Not RecommendThe fan stopped working after about 7 mo of use.My elc guy said to avoid hunter fans. He did say the light kits go out more often than the fan. I have to replace it .

Looks good, works great.
Easy to install (I've done a few in my time; if you've never installed a fan before, or dealt with household electrical wiring, get help or at least do your homework!) Added a remote control and it works great, runs very quiet while moving a substantial amount of air. The bulbs look great and put out plenty of light for a fairly large home office (approx 15'x30'.) I've always had good experiences with Hunter fans and this was no different.

Would RecommendGreat fan! Color of the motor is a bit darker than we thought. Blades are a bit grayer. The light covers are closed and look like canning jars. Kind of weird at first but we are getting used to them. Fan moves lots of air to help cool the room.

Good looks, questionable quality
Would Not RecommendI now have 4 of these fans inside my house. 3 of the 4 make a clunking/grinding sound when in operation. That is the best way I can describe it. Some internal noise that the motor makes. So if you sleep with this fan at night and sounds bother you, this is not the fan for you. By my math you'd have a 75% chance of this happening. All that said, the fan installs easily, looks nice, and is very bright. The actual airflow it provides is quite good too.
