Would Not RecommendI have 3 other Hunter fans and love them all! All 3 are 52", 5-blade, low profile (in bedrooms). Great air circulation! I purchased this Dempsey for the kitchen (April 2026). I needed low profile as my ceilings are 8' and wanted dimmable. This 4-blade fan seemed to be the best choice. Several issues... The fan does NOT circulate air well. Easy Purchase and return with the Lowes card
Received this ceiling fan on the date represented. with no damage. We had a change in the style of fan we wanted and have purchased a different one from one of the local Lowes stores. We have since returned the one we purchased on line with the Lowes card the return was very simple and fast. We are very happy with the one we purchased and installed.

Good fan but little light.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ascetically the Hunter Dempsey low profile ceiling fan looks great. The functionality could use some work. The lighting is very dim. The light bowl is frosted and all enclosed leaving little light to be diffused. It’s ok if you like little light or have a floor lamp to lighten things up. As far as the fan part. It works well and keeps the room breezy and cool.

Horrible Lighting
I've had this fan for about 6 months and I'm ready to replace it. Fan is great, but the light is horrible!!! If you can to be able to see, then this probably isn't the fan for you.
