I would rather vomit than use Homex texture

I bought four cans of Homex ceiling texture spray and what a horrible experience I had. Besides being messy, the product did not want to spray onto the ceiling. It was trickling out of the nozzle, and I sprayed more on the floor than on the ceiling. Continue to shake the can, and let the can rest and clean out the clog. Product is great. Lowes need to bring back cashiers. They don't pay me to find items, answer my own questions and check myself out

Splatters Everwhere But The Ceiling

I followed the directions on the can. I started to spray a small ceiling patch. The media runs down my knuckles splatters everywhere but the ceiling. Then it ran out of propellant before the can was half empty. 1 minute of spray with 30 mins of floor and wall cleanup. Save your money.

2 stars because I was able to get the job done

I had a can on the shelf in the shop for a repair i had been putting off ...it didn't work at all. Bought a new one got the small job done....but the spray was uneven and did not stop with the release of trigger so very messy to say the least. Spent way more time cleaning splatter than the whole job should have taken.

It does not work - texture looks nothing like orange peel, except where it fell from the can down to the tub, shower, etc.

Works when used correctly

I read many reviews and replies from the manufacturer. If you let the bottle stand in warm water for 15 minutes or so and shake the can for at least one minute you will get a nice orange peel texture. However, I did not get anywhere near the coverage advertised. That makes using this expensive if you have a larger area to texure.

Better control vlave than the wall product

This is especially for ceilings, but it has better control for walls than the product for walls. It's worth the extra cost for walls because of the better valve mechanism and the can ends up covering more per can with a better result.
