Easy to use.

Way better than the cans!

Was messing around and trying to texture my guest bedroom. Spray cans were garbage. This however was exactly what I was looking for.

Great texture

Works great to texture a wall, just make sure you buy the text gun itself and get the right tips for the style of texture you are after. The only downside is it can be tricky to mix the right consistency as it is so fine and tends to get everywhere as you mix it.

Practice for best results

It takes a little practice to out it on just right. Once you do it looks good. Definitely get a sheet of drywall and practice! And be ready to take a little in your face until you get it right.

Contents not necessarily volume listed on box

Only criticism is not with product itself but with packaging. Plastic bag holding the product is sealed with loosely applied twist tie that in many cases had fallen off the bag and spilled some contents leaving each bag with a different amount of product. This made getting consistent mix more difficult than just adding the amount of water instructed on label.

Lumpy Texture

I mixed a batch of texture to spray with the hopper following directions and using paddle mixer. When spraying the texture, there were various dry lumps on the wall. I removed the texture and remixed the texture again for over 5 minutes using paddle mixer. Still have same problem and this won’t work for the wall texture I am trying.

Works good enough

It sprays on pretty easily, although it has to mixed thin enough. The downside; it also flakes off the wall easily unless coated over with a pretty decent paint.

Product missing

It is not sealed and some of the product was missing. Brought it to the managers attention and she said I could elect to not purchase the product. She did not care that someone is stealing a portion of every box.

It’s messy.

It’s very messy as to be expected, but it works well with the spray gun. When people say it’s messy, they mean it. I sprayed it from the spray gun and it is very messy. It also did not cover the sq footage on listed on the box when used as knockdown. That could be due to the thickness I sprayed but it covered about half of the actual footage. Much better than using the cans.

Works well in texture gun

Used an electric texture gun and it came out great. Wall texture matches the other walls very well.

Don’t accept that taped up boxes are whole, regar.

The box (the only one there) was taped up and was missing product.
