Very loud

I bought this dehumidifier because it was advertised as being quiet however it is very loud even on its lowest setting.

Don't buy. Error E9 after 2 years of use

It worked well, but after 2 years of use only in summer months, it will shut down with an error E3. Research indicates this is very common with this unit. I also notice Lowes no longer carries it.

Great at first

This was a good dehumidifier and did what it was supposed to do. But be careful, After 2 years I started to get an error code E9. Hisense customer service just tells me to unplug and hold down the power button for a minute then plug it in. it works for a little while then the code comes back. I am disappointed in Hisense and will try another brand.

Do not buy this! Got E9 error message on first use. Means humidity detector is broker beyond repair. Customer service is no responsive. I hate this!

Efficient

My husband uses portable dehumidifiers in the garage and at times inside when he feels it’s just too humid. He loves this dehumidifier. Efficient and as fairly quiet for a dehumidifier. It is also easy to love around and dump the water in it. Would recommend

won't last more than a year

This dehumidifier is good when it works but it quits working after one year. We purchased it in 2018 and the company replaced the unit in 2019 when it quit working. Now that unit quit working and they won't replace or give any refund because it is two weeks over the original two year warranty. Don't waste your money on this dehumidifier.

Best Portable Dehumidifier I’ve Found!

Keeping our lab dry!!

We have 15 large screen tv's with many computers in the lab that would collect moisture. We were pretty desperate and concerned that we were going to destroy our equipment with all the moisture. Put this Dehumidifier in and it solved our moisture issues. I am thrilled with this resolution until we figure out our AC issue.

Nice addition

My only advice for installation is not to cut the straps until you have it in the intended location. The front-access water bucket is simple to empty and replace. Controls and indicators are easy to read and understand. Noise while operating is minimal. We have ours just outside our bedroom.

No Sweat!

Works well, not too loud!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simple, easy to use dehumidifier. Noise level is super important to me as many dehumidifiers can be quite noisy. I found this one to be slightly quieter than other dehumidifier models that I use. We are using this on our basement level to keep the area dry down there. After about three weeks of use, I am noticing much fresher air down there. I empty the unit twice a day. The auto shutoff works great if I'm not around to empty it.
