Loud pump but works well for the price.

If you have this in the basement where you use it for basically storage then this is a good unit. If you have this in the house and use the bucket or the gravity fed drain then this is a good unit. If you have this in a room that you use often and use often and use the motorized pump then this is not the unit for you. The motorized pump is noisy when it cycle and will get on your nerves as it cycles every 5 minutes or so.

Great Product!!!

This product is just like those Times watch commercials I watched as a kid…”it is takes a liking and keeps on ticking”!!! I clean the water and air filter every 4 months and it runs great and keeps the place super dry!

We have had two of these now and neither lasted 2 years. Be sure to purchase an extended warranty if you buy one of these.

Parts Unavailable

I am getting the E9 error. It is a humidity sensor fault. This seems to be the most come problem with all Hisense dehumidifiers based on what I am seeing online. "What is code E9?" is even the example question to ask the computer lady when you call them. The humidity sensor is not available for purchase anywhere. A $10 part will render it useless. Buy one made by a reputable manufacturer.

E9 problems GALORE

I have purchased 3 of these dehumidifiers. They run fine for 1-2 yr, then the E9 error shows up & they stop running. You sent me a REFURBISHED unit for the 1st one but it never produced a drop of water & the E9 error showed up again. I’ve tried all your recommendations to reset it but it still does not run. PLEASE folks buy a dehumidifier that lasts longer.

Piece of Junk

Have 2 of these under my home set to drain automatically. They stopped draining within a year and now just go straight to the bucket. Reached out to the company and they pretty much said there is nothing they will do. Looking at replacing both units asap.

Poor Warranty

Bought in May 2019 Worked for three years. I would think that the manufacturer would stand behind their product more than two years unless they knew they were selling an inferior products. After reading other reviews I'm not the only one that believes Hisense is selling a low quality product.

Garbage

Went through 3 of these in 2 years. The built-in pumps are terrible and guarantee will fail within a year. After my third warranty replacement, I rigged it for gravity drainage from garden hose hookup. That lasted less than a year until the whole unit failed.

Junk after 2 years

This was great. I have a large basement that would get a little musty smelling. This unit fixed that in a day! I ran the hose to my sump and it would run constantly, so I wouldn't have to empty the bin. However - after 2 years, I now have an E9 error on it and it no longer runs. Bad sensor or something. I plan on buying a brand that isn't known for its cheap price.

Pump doesn’t always work

I bought this in the summer of 2020 I wish I knew it has a 2 year warranty!! A year after I got it the pump stopped working

The simple design helps It fades into the background of the room. It has improved my basement significantly. We are one step closer to enjoying our basement.

Its humidity meter not stable to control humidity

I set the dehumidifier "auto dry" at 50% humidity when it showed 55%. It pulled down to 39% and stopped.. then its humidity meter went up to 64% and dehumidifier started pulling down humidity again .. During the same time, my ThermPro humidity meter showed stable 41% humidity.. So it seemed just on and off to control its own drifting humidity level when the room humidity level showed little change..I think it works on continuous mode ( pull down humidity and pump out water), but I need to aut...
