THREE things: ONE: The extension pole included was SO short by the time I hung the fan I had two inches between the top/bottom cover to wire the darn thing - REALLY 2". If you buy this go right to the extension pole section and buy a longer one before leaving the store. TWO: This model came with a remote. Would Not RecommendThe fan blades were extremely difficult to attach to the fan motor. The blade to tapped hole alignment was very poor on 2 places. I was only able to get 2 of 3 screws to seat completely on one blade. For this price, I would expect much better quality control.

Upon opening a brand new box, we discovered all of the blades were scratched. Not sure how they all became damaged when packaged safely in the box.
