Would Not RecommendTERRIBLE IN EVERY WAY! It says: " For exterior wood to wood applications". I built a shed and these screws [1-1/4" x8] failed 9 out of 10 times; failed to grip; just spun! I want my $9.48 back Lowe's!

Would RecommendI use these deck screws for all sorts of projects. Most recently, though, to build 3ft. and 5ft. fence gates out of lap joint fence gates out of 2x4s. I will continue to use deck screws over nails when I want a secure, non slip fastener.
