Not the best greenworks product I own

After assembly I used it to replace my old string trimmer. My first thought was that the string head was very difficult to re sting. It took me way too long to remove the spool after I tried to load the string as seen on YouTube. I thought I could feed it through without removing the head but there was still broken off sting in the spool. It took me 15 minutes to get the head apart and re thread the spool. I wish I had done more repurchase before buying this particular tool.

My second 60 volt string trimmer

That should tell you how I feel about the greenworks line up. Have a pole saw. Next will be a tiller. This string trimmer works amazing. Really enjoy the new head design. Better than the fist Gen string trimmer. Thank you greenworks.

60 V Gen 2 Improved trimmer.

Great features

Worn our trimer head in one season!

Bought string trimmer Nov 2024 and first year was great. Second summer the trimmer had issues advancing the line. Calling support required two calls; first call I hung up after a long hold. Second time I waited 45 minutes before reaching a friendly voice only to find out my trimmer head needed to be replaced. This part was considered a wearable part and only had a 90 day warranty and not included in the 4 year warranty!! First time I EVER had to replace a trimmer head so I was not happy and...

Quite Impressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Carbon fiber model is so light compared to my old Orange Gas trimmer. The power of the 60v was more than I expected. So far I’m very pleased with this purchase. We’ll see how it performs over the summer and leave another review.

Convenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just bought this recently and I love it. No more taking out the extension cord, plugging it in and having to wind it up and putting away after I’m done. One of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time. Highly recommend.

Perfect for smaller yards

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this weekly for almost a month to trim the front and backyard. It's a great tool by itself, without a mower, if you don't have as much grass. We're OK leaving the cut grass on the lawn, so we don't have to worry about using a leaf blower. I'm 6'1" and my wife is about a half foot shorter, and we both find it ergonomic and comfortable to use for the hour or so we spend on the grass.

Works great, ergonomics doesn't fit me the best.

I'm 5'8", and i feel like i need to lean down for the cutter head to be level with ground. Standing straight holding it, doesn't work well. The gearbox should have a few degrees less on angle, or another 6" on shaft length would fix it.
