I bought an open box 1000x. Everything worked fine u til I plugged a solar panel in. The unit will not charge via solar. Very unfortunate.

Great little power source!
Purchased an open box Yeti 1000X. Looked brand new when it arrived. We use it mostly at our off grid cabin for powering lamps at night, charging phones, radio, etc. It has performed perfectly and keeps things powered for a long time. Have a 200 watt solar panel that recharges it in an adequate amount of time. We also use it to open the power slide out on our travel trailer when boondocking, a great alternative to having to get out the gas generator for just that task. Bought my first Goal Zero p...

Another great product
Would RecommendI have quite a few goal zero products now, and this power station is no different. Fantastic quality and impressive performance. This unit is big, but surprisingly light and packs a lot of punch. Runs my skylight forever and my projector and starlink for longer than I can use it during the weekend, even more so with some solar input. Would recommend 300-600W of solar if you're power hungry while off grid. A+

Overall another great Yeti Product
Would RecommendI had to buy this solar generator because the Yeti 700 was sold out. I’m glad I did. This one had plenty of power to to keep my yeti Alta cold for a 9 day road trip. It kept the cooler at the right temperature over night when I had my truck turned off.

Impressive peak power
Impressive peak power output. The watt meter is fun to see what everything in my house uses. But bought it for my truck and space is a premium. The top has a storage hollow, which makes the unit taller but there might be electronics around that hollow and it's necessary to the design. My only real complaint is the display stays on when the Yeti isn't being charged anymore, I have to manually turn off the display when charging the Yeti in my truck every time I park and won't be using it. Drain fr...

The right tool for the job
Would RecommendIt’s exactly the amount of power I need for my trailer lights, WiFi router, battery chargers, tv, etc… Paired with the Boulder 200 panels, I can keep everything going as long as the sun is out 8+ hrs/day

Can't beat the price!
Can't beat the price, seems like it works okay. Only weird thing is the battery fluctuates between 97% - 100% even though it's plugged in all the time. I like Goal Zero, never had a problem so far!

Great power source
Would RecommendGreat power source! I upgraded from the 500x and it was a fabulous deal! This will let me be off grid for longer, with power to run several gadgets as well as charge my e-bike.

Pretty impressed!
Would RecommendAfter about 30 days of "tinkering" with this 1000X, I'm pretty impressed. I should say that this is my first purchase of a Battery-based portable power system. I bought this primarily as an "emergency backup" for power outages at home. Based on its output spec. of 1500 watts continuous / 3000 watts surge, I expected to be able to run pretty much any 115v device in my house in an emergency- and Im pleased to say it works great! Microwave, Refrigerator, TV, computer or lights- it will keep you goi...

Yeti 1000 review
Handles 1500w electric chainsaw without difficulty. Readily charges in 3-4 hrs with 2 200w boulder solar panels ( best panel output 170w per panel)

Great powerful battery
Would RecommendI have been using the battery for a month now. It works great. We run multiple devices at the same time for many hours. We do this about 3 days a week. It holds its charge well. I’m very happy with it.

Keep it simple and have fun
We bought this as a limited source of power for essential items when on the road with out trailer. It has exceeded expectations. The plan is to upgrade to a 4K or 8K unit because this has been so useful. I have 2 100i solar panels now and will add at least 2 more after upgrading.

Not good
Would Not RecommendNot so good. Strange smell means I can charge in the house and now the solar panels aren’t in best spot. Lights on front drain power and it’s impossible to get this thing charged from the sun. Wish I didn’t buy.

Great investment
Would RecommendI bought this last month and don't regret buying it this is a great investment for your home or business

All Night Long
Would RecommendI do a lot of night astrophotography. It's a good amount of gear, running throughout the night into into the morning, usually 12 - 14 hours at a pop and often in the cold. I've had the Goal Zero 200, the 300, and now the 1000. I've found each to be useful and dependable, but the 1000 by far is the workhorse. Batteries don't do that well in the cold, but the 1000 finishes a session well above 25%, and my equipment draws a good amount of power. I couldn't be happier. Too, it's great for general pu...
