[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Generac iQ3800 from Influenster. And it’s been an absolute game-changer for backup power and outdoor use. The dual fuel capability (gasoline and propane) offers great flexibility, especially during emergencies when fuel availability can be unpredictable. Maintenance is easy. And it’s quieter than other generators.

just what we needed
Our power company has been putting in a lot of new equipment. Had one 4 day long power outage that cost us our ref. contents and a good reason to buy a portable generator. Works great but only needed to keep food cold. Can do wyfy and tv if needed too

Camping trips here we come !!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got the Generac iQ3800DF Inverter Generator and I’m seriously impressed already. Dual fuel (gasoline + propane), super quiet, and easy to move around—exactly what I was looking for. The digital display is a nice bonus too. I can’t wait to put it to the test during our next camping trip or power outage! So far, 5/5!

Disappointment
I bought this in December, 2024. It was difficult to crank the first time and when I tried to crank it again, it will not start.

Very quiet and easy to maintan
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the iQ3800 for home backup during storms and weekend RV trips—and it’s been outstanding. It kicks out 3,800 starting watts (3,100 running) on gas or 3,420/2,790 on propane, giving me flexibility when fuel is tight. Despite its power, it stays impressively quiet, so I can run it overnight without bothering the neighbors. Built with a rugged steel frame and protected outlets, it’s held up to bumps and rough handling, and the Eco‑M...

Powers on!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This generator is a a solid choice if you’re someone who loves to go camping or even a good choice for a job site if you need back up power. It’s actually pretty quiet for a generator and I think it’s great that it can also be hooked up to propane.

Dead battery
Would Not RecommendBought it in February. Unpacked it in October. Battery was connected (wasn't supposed to be) and there was oil in the motor (wasn't supposed to be any oil). Must have been a refurbed item. Battery is dead and is not covered by warranty.

Was great in a pinch
Would RecommendFantastic unit. I would recommend to anyone. My only complaint and not even enough to give less stars but the unit is heavy and would be nice if it had some low profile wheels for easier moving.

Lasted 10 hours
Would Not RecommendWas thrilled to get this unit and did a ton of research before purchasing. I ran this unit for approximately 10 hours and the digital screen stopped working. This was under a minimal load and under normal weather. After I shut it down for the day there was fuel leaking out of the case and onto the ground. I haven't been able to identify the leak but I suspect its likely carburetor related. I am currently working on locating a service repair dealer which is much harder than I thought it would be....

Good quality and value.
Would RecommendI choose it for my Rv. I took it on an12,000 mile Alaskan trip which included frost heave and dirt roads. The only issue is it quit cranking off the electric start. It does crank easy off the pull start. I had to use the pull start most of the trip. It was new when I left. It’s super quiet! If others are running around I couldn’t hear mine at all even though theirs were a good distance away. Generac meads to sell it with a cover or sell a fitted cover. I had a problem with dust getting in the r...

Overloads for no reason.
Would Not RecommendI bought this unit for a month long trip. This thing turns off after a very short time displaying"overloaded" no matter what you do. I tested it with just a 1500 watt coffee pot and same result... "overloaded" Very dissatisfied with this product as it left us without power for a majority of our trip which was 80% dry camping. Don't recommend

Great looking , quiet and affordable generator!
Would RecommendResearched inverter generators on YouTube for hours to find the perfect unit to power my camper at unserved sites. Narrowed my choice down to the Honda EU 3000is or the Generac iQ 3500, but it was the Generac’s cost that made it the easy decision! For being equally (or possibly even more) quiet, 20lbs lighter and having nicer features such as a keyless starting switch, automatic choke, and a display screen for monitoring voltage output and run time to gauge oil changes it knocked it out of th...
