very bad

How can anyone recommend this product when you make it impossible to get the generator activated as you never respond to phone calls or emails about getting it commissioned and tested. I have emailed and called many times and it's been installed for 2 years and still has not been activated!!! All you want to do is sell generators and don't give a hoot about follow up or activation, I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND YOUR PRODUCT, DON'T CARE IF IT'S SUPPOSEDLY THE BEST GENERATOR ON THE PLANET, DOESN'T DO ME ...

Multiple issues

Ordered 9 months in advance by our builder, unit was late and had multiple issues. Multiple service personnel sent over a 6 month period..finally insisted on replacement. Took 2+ months but finally in. Hopefully works when needed. Market share is an issue. Hope service is there when i need it! The subs were great,,,this was a product issue.

Great genny

Waited 9 weeks for generator. Ordered it with a cold weather kit. Generac never installed the cold weather kit. I had to install it. Which includes cutting the brand new coolant hoses. I would say if you order something brand new and order the accessories then it should come with them installed. Also very little room for the battery! Other than that great generator!!

Works well

A good sized investment because we don't feel the power grid is going to serve us well over the next 10 years. Quality Home Services did an excellent job in design, permits, installation and training.

25 months old major part failure

Have a large home generator. Smoke pouring out just a few weeks after annual service. Pretty disappointed in a major piece failing in just 25 months of ownership. Especially since it was all checked out this month and all was supposed to be good. Is this normal?? Would like to know/how why? Not a good sign for the huge price paid.

Does the job but not made well

The company makes products that are hard to use and this unit was very difficult in getting the monitors figured out. Makes a lot of notice

Loving my new Generator that was installed by the Lads from The Electric Touch Company they completed the job in a timely fashion explained everything to me and now my Unit is running great, its only been a few weeks and my unit has been used at least 4 times so far. I'm happy I made this investment.

Parts missing

Sorry to report; so far my experience has not been good! I started this journey back in Oct 23! Up until two days ago they had not been able to get it started. One delay was a a missing generac base plate where the electrical comes out. Recently they replaced the wire harness that was defective. This Tuesday I am suppose to get a brief about how my generator works.

Too soon to tell maybe

Still having issues with the generator giving error codes. Waiting on replacement part to see if it corrects the issue. Also, for a new unit there are several spots of rust already showing, not sure how this will hold up for years to come. Also, still trying to get this connected to the Wi-Fi network for easier monitoring, which has not been easy. The jury is still out on our opinion of the unit.

Recently installed

Only have had the generator for a couple weeks so it is difficult to comment on quality/durability. It did function as it should during a couple of outages lasting a couple minutes each. The Mobile Link app could use some work. I could not get it to install at all. Our installer came out and got it to work after fiddling with for over an hour using several devices for something that should be fairly straight forward. Overall I am satisfied with the generator so far.

Not at all satisfied!!

We bought this generator brand new and it is still not working! It ran for a few minutes when the electricians were trying to have it up and running. Unfortunately all it did was blow out most of my circuit breakers and burned up my AC motor. The electrician just left my residence saying it still will not start! We had such high hopes for this generator and it is failing miserably!

Wish I had purchased 22 yrs ago.

Disappointed with “Upgraded” Features

Purchased a 30 kW liquid cooled unit. It took almost four months for delivery. I purchased the liquid cooled unit because I was told it would be quieter; there is no noticeable noise reduction. At the installation, it was discovered that the liquid cooled unit will not connect wirelessly and I would, at added expense need to run a line to my modem. So, mobile link is useless to me right now. I have no doubt, the product will run if I loose power but I don’t think it was worth the upgrade. #Disap...

New unit, failed twice in three weeks

48kW unit, big and bulky, installed less than month ago and lost power twice and TWICE THE GENERAC HAS FAILED TO TURN ON! Working with electrician and still not fixed. So disappointed in this $20K+ “investment”

The lead contractor for my project did a great job. Unfortunately, he did have to spend a lot of time apologizing for the "sub's" work. The concrete pad is below standards and looks like it. On the bright side, I've had power drop out more than just a few times since the install, and within seconds, my Generac is up and running. damage

Unit came with a damaged fan blade, and oil is leaking or spilled on bottom of unit. Now i have to hire a certified tech to come out and replace the fan blade since it was damaged in the factory. Unit is also throwing codes, haven't been able to start it. Their air cooled units seem much better.

Great Experience with Generator Supercenter of Nashville

I have a mixed review. I love the product and I enjoy working with Generator Supercenter of Nashville. But my overall experience is leaning negative because of unbelievable hassles getting propane. While that has nothing to do with the generator, it has everything to do with it because the generator uses a lot of it. I purchased a 48kW Generac standby generator from Auxiliary Power Systems of Remlap, Alabama. Their technicians arrived last month as scheduled for two occasions to: (1) pour the generator slab, and (2) generator installation. Our local utility service was able to run a natural gas line prior to generator installation. The installation itself went well with no issues and has run each exercise cycle as expected.
