After waring the first gen venue for a number of years, the Venue Sq2 is a good upgrade. The face/notifications are easier to read, the speed of the device carrying out actions is faster and the extra battery time is a nice change. I am really pleased with the Sq2 and highly recommend it for those who want a simple activity tracker and enjoys

Great Replacement!
Bought the Venu Sq 2 to replace my Venu 2 and it is exactly what I need for my activities. Stylish and it is not complicated to operate .

It's better than I am
I replaced my earlier Garmin model that had lost its ability to read my pulse (and whose band had failed numerous times). This one has a good old-fashioned pin to secure the bands, so I expect it to last. Its features are amazing! I no longer have to plug in and open GarminConnect to get my recent records -- just swipe! I was intimidated at first, because the first couple of pages of the manual instruct me to link to my smartphone -- an eye-rolling challenge/threat to this 81-year-old. So I...

Great upgrade
I really like the Garmin Venu Sq 2 and it was a great upgrade from my Forerunner. There are a lot of features, and I like the additional options from Garmin IQ. What I don't like or that has been frustrating is the inaccurate weather temps that display on the watch face. Now, the help posts are really good but even after doing all the suggestions, I cannot get the weather to display the correct temperature, and this is very frustrating and I still don't know how to fix it. I also do not like th...

A big bang for the buck!
I already owned a Fenix 5xP and a Venu, but when I saw this one on sale, I couldn't pass it up for the square form factor. I usually wear Samsung watches, but they've been horribly inaccurate with health tracking. Garmin never disappoints, so I'm migrating back. Battery life has been stellar; the watch used 30% over a week away at work. Swim tracking is perfect, as is sleep tracking.

Venu SQ 2
I upgraded from my original Venu SQ. I love this watch! Great features. Great screen. Love that it’s not too big and has a square face.

Disappointment
When I bought this watch, I thought it would be an upgrade to my original Garmin Venu, but I was mistaken. A daily counting of floors is important to me, and this watch does not have the capability!! It’s a step backward. Also, there is nothing intuitive about this watch, and if you want to use it properly, I suggest that you keep the manual close at hand at all times.

it is good
the venu sq2 replaces vivoactive hr, (which the touch screen stopped working) . the venu sq2 records my walk, which is about the same as vivoactivehr. i have not used the cycling on the venu sq2 as of yet. the venusq2 records alot more, the sleep is about the same,it gives body battery, stress amount, heart rate, calories total, steps, pulse ox, respiration, notification. it has inensity minutes , ( the vivoactivehr did not read inensity minutes all the time.) it does not count floors but the vivo...

Third Generation Garmin
This is my third Garmin watch and I’m enjoying how responsive it is compared to my Venu 2 watch. This time also I am using it to track my sleeping and it is very impressive how accurate it seems to be. What I don’t like is how face the watch face goes into sleep mode. I wish it would stay visible for a longer period of time. I’ve searched all of the Settings but can’t find how I can modify that feature.

Nice Features
It's an awesome watch, that keeps good time. However, I was making effort to set up walking feature. Not sure what I did wrong, now the full watch time keeping is lost. I see small 7(white) 05 (orange) and at the bottom Dec 24 (white). It is a challenging time piece to navigate.

Love it
I bought this watch 6 weeks ago. The watch has a lot of features I like. It's stylish without being gaudy. And it's comfortable to wear.

Helpful tool
I use my watch as a timepiece all the time, and as an exercise tool every morning. I have lost over 30# due to my watch mapping and recording my daily walks. It has paid for itself!

Doesn’t have as many features as I thought
Be warned, I have tattoos on my wrist and if my watch goes over them it does not calculate anything, as long as it stays above it it works, doesn’t has as many features as I thought it would but still a good watch

Love my Garmin
I have bought 4 Garmin Venu Sq watches and love them. They perform great, giving me all the info, and more, that I need. They are the perfect size for my smaller boned wrists and they look great.
