OK recorder, but you get what you pay for

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As my first cassette recorder, I won’t expect it to exceed my expectations, the playback quality isn’t great, but the mic quality is a little bit better than what I expected (which isn’t saying much). I think this is a case of you get what you pay for, so this will likely be a temporary product for me until I get both a better cassette recorder and a better cassette player.

Amazing choice for a cassette collector!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this cassette player to play my first ever cassette I bought, a Kris Kross cassette. It was amazing! I’m looking into more hip hop/ southern cassettes to buy and use on this amazing cassette speaker. Nice and loud speakers, plus a great radio in case I want to tap in with the news!

Simple product but Quality item.

Unfortunately the radio didn’t pick up any signals out in the country where I live. One weird quirk, were the record button image is supposed to be it has an image of a second rewind button. But it still records. Have older model GPX (C3302RS) that still works and I wished the new model had the security latch for the cassette door like the older one does. But both are ...

Doesn't last - don't buy.

I bought this unit about 6 months ago, and it was fun to be able to listen to the old tapes again. The radio barely functions, but I wanted a tape player so that didn't bother me. However, now, the cassette player only operates at 1/2 speed, and there is no repair or replacement option. When I called, they shared they have no service department and it's out of warranty. They only warrant this player for 90 days! That says it all.

It’s fine for what it is

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It sounds like you’d except a bottom-end tape player to sound like in 2026. It’s fine. You can hear the music on the tape. It’s not going to sound good and the machine is bulky and heavy.

Convenient and cheap!

The design is so simple which makes it great to take anywhere! Not to mention how clear the sound quality is, the perfect mix of vintage and modern. I recommend it to any music lover!

Works Well & Recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a month ago, and I’ve found it to work the same as what my cassette player in the 80’s/90’s did. The thing about this one is that it has a built in speaker, so you don’t have to wear headphones unless you want to. It also has a mic, giving the option to record onto a blank tape. Very cool and sounds great!

Good sound for small package
