What Customers Are Saying
The power station is versatile and can reliably charge various devices, including laptops, phones, and CPAP machines, even during power outages. The lithium version is noted as being significantly lighter than the lead-acid model. However, some users have experienced issues with the unit not being able to power certain high-wattage devices as advertised, and concerns about the lack of USB-C ports. There have also been reports of the unit failing prematurely in some cases. Additionally, the required solar panels can be quite expensive.

This has been a very durable product. We use it for tailgating and camping. i have now replaced the battery once and it is still going. I also use it for recharging my drill batteries every day.

Only powers my small electronics.
Would Not RecommendI thought I could use my Keurig coffee maker or my toaster or my small space heater from this when the power goes out. In the middle of a storm now. It knocked out the power. But the Yeti can’t power anything but my iPhone and iPad. When I tried to make coffee, it shut off and displayed “overload”. Why would I need a big, expensive power station for that?

AC Outlets Stopped Working After Off-Roading Trip
Would Not RecommendWe took our Yeti 400 on an off-roading Trip to power all of the devices we wanted to use for our 4 day trip and after the drive in we learned the AC Outlets Stopped Working. We then checked the USB and DC outlets and they worked fine. After returning home I dismantled the entire device and checked fuses on the AC inverter chip and nothing was blown. Turns out a few of the wired connections connected to the larger things on the board (one of which was the transformer) had disconnected, likely due...

Useless if it doesn't charge.
Would Not RecommendI bought this a month ago and i'm annoyed that I did. I also bought a rock pals 600w for cheaper and its more battery capacity, power and better input charging. Goal zero has AC pass through which is nice. I live in a sprinter van and I have a zero 400, rock pals 600, a Jackery. I ran the rockpals and yeti dead today put them on charge at 8:30pm with my generator. my rock pals was fully charged at 11:30pm. It's currently 12:10 my yeti is only 48% charged. Yeti and Jackery are just junk now compa...

Pray you don't need to change the fuse
Would Not RecommendI've had the Yeti 400 for charging ipads, phones, outdoor lighting on trips and as emergency backup. This lasted until a fuse blew. I contacted Goal Zero and instructed how to change the fuse myself except you need a soldering gun to do so. I'm now left with a massive paperweight as the plug no longer works.

Yeti 400 Lithium is a great addition to your kit
Would RecommendThis is great for car camping or a back up power source for in a camper. It is excellent for charging phones, laptops, camera equipment. Small and light weight (relatively speaking). No USB-C ports and the AC ports are quite close together (could not use two cell phone charging plugs side by side) are they only downsides I have experienced.

Exactly what I needed.
Would RecommendWe bought this unit several months ago. We use it to power our network, phones, and cable when we have power outages. Living in the mountains can mean periodic power loss after storms. It’s been a champ for us.

Failed on our wedding day!
Would Not RecommendI USED to be a big supporter of all Goal Zero products and own and use many of them often. We loved our Yeti 400 and used it regularly and took care of it so when we needed some power for our remote mountain wedding I knew the Yeti would be perfect. I had it charged up and tested it the night before and worked fine. The day of the wedding I brought the Yeti and an extra solar panel to recharge it just in case and it COMPLETELY FAILED! The whole thing fried overnight somehow and is now useless. I...

3 years and still going!
Would RecommendI purchased this 3 years ago as a backup power supply, and use it almost every day to charge my phones and tablets. I use a 100 watt solar panel when the sun is out, but AC the rest of the time. I've also used it for portable ham radio use, and it works great.

Awesome!
Would RecommendI lived in a 5x8 travel trailer for 6 months and this was the only power supply I had. I had LED lights, iPhone, iPad, and little usb fan hooked up all the time. Used the Boulder 100 to keep it charged. If the weather called for a few cloudy days, I would take it into work for the day and let it wall charge. Haven’t had a problem with it so far.

Lithum 400 would not power 100 watt ice maker
Bought this today to power an 100 watt ice maker while camping. Overload triggers every time when the compressor starts. According to my watt meter attached during normal operation using the wall AC, max surge watts were found to go just over 600 watts. Lithium 400 is supposed to capable of 1200 surge watts. This does not seem to be true. . Bottom line: Do not count on this powering a compressor that uses more than 100W nominal. Given that the surge watts is exaggerated, its way more expensive t...

POWER ON THE GO!
Would RecommendThis Power Station was a donation to our Veterans Organization from another distributor. But let me tell you that this litte power house did its job for us. It powered our small sound system for an hour and only using 20% of the charge. There was a Large Speaker and sound panel connected to it and even the soundman was impressed and will get one for himself. I cannot wait to try it out on more things plugged in when it comes time for us to do our NYC Veterans Day Parade. I also tested it on my...

Awesome until the AC output died
Would Not RecommendWe bought the Yeti 400 to run a CPAP in remote areas which it did beautifully as it is designed for medical equipment with the sine wave output on the 110AC, lasting the whole night (without the humidifier). Loved the design. Used it for about ten nights total. Then the AC output died. It ramps the current up and shuts off every time i try to power it up without anything plugged in. The other ports still work, but the AC is permanently dead. Hoping someone posts a better brand to use here. ...

My dad left my goal zero in the rain while we were floatin a river for a week and it filled up through the top 4 bolts! The screen was full of water, everything really.. bummer but I dried it out by opening it up and blowing a fan on it.. still works 100 percent! Maybe even better than before. I have lived in a truck for 2 years so this thing has endured some pain, sleeping all winter with temps below 0F, litterally 10* wow. No charge controller or inverter BS just plug and play! Makes life eas...

Storage???
Would Not RecommendI bought this and found it does not store power well at all. Also highly doubt it holds 400watts. For example: charges I-Pad from 26%-100% and Sony a7II DSLR camera battery top off new purchase, draining 40%. And for being so outdoor & “green” friendly, it was disappointing that 12v charger cable for expeditions/journeys is NOT included. Glorified power adapter for solar power access! Very disappointed! Was hoping this could store power for various small draw expedition needs at night. Not. T...

Additional Information for CPAP Users
Would RecommendI finally had an opportunity to test my GZ LI400 two weekends ago on a yurt trip with my wife. I am running a Resmed Airsense 10. When camping, I always run my CPAP with my hose heat set to "off" and my humidity set to "off". Additionally, I purchased the DC-to-DC converter that Resmed puts out for the Airsense 10. Finally, I run my CPAP with a ramp and pressure setting of "4" while my machine has a max pressure setting of "12" (I typically average somewhere between 10 and 11). After the firs...

Would RecommendGenerator is fantastic. However when I ordered it I didn't see any mention of needing to buy the solar panels.
