Broken Glass

The glass window on the inside of the door broke. I have not use the washer since it was installed. No idea why it broke, but the dealer switched the door opening direction. Very strange indeed!

Not made to last

We purchased this Front Load washer 18 months ago. We like the way it washes clothes and uses less water, but we have had to replace the electronics board once and now the spin will not work which typically means drain motor needs replaced or the new board is going again. Our last GE front load lasted 12 years. We either received a lemon or they do not make them like they use too.

I am very pleased with the washing machine. It's quiet and easy to operate. Clothes are clean and fresh.

I love the capacity and forgot how much I missed a front load! It is so nice to "see" clean clothes!

Great washer. Solid… we bought to replace Top load Whirlpool… this one does better job. No more balancing problem… love the front load now

Door doesn't lock

It stopped washing when I needed lt most. The door closes completely but it won't lock and turn the machine on.

I love my new washer, I haven't used every setting as yet, it is very new! So far, so good! I need to purchase a dryer as well!

Glass Door shattered after 2 years

We’ve had this washer for 2 years, I am running a regular load of laundry when I heard a very loud noise that sounded like a rock tumbler in our Basement. I came to see water all over the floor and when I opened the door- the inside door glass had completely shattered and been tumbling around inside during the cycle. I have

This is my 2nd GE Washer in 2yrs! Same unit. Only got just over a yr on 1st one. Wish GE would have worked with me on repairing my 1st one. Only did it again to match dryer. Works good when working. Looks great when not working! Time will tell......

so far so good

A little noisy at the start of the washing cycle, thus the 4 star rating. Spin is much quieter than expected even on the faster spin cycle. Took some effort to get the door mounting reversed but was able to do it myself. Only have had the washer for a month but so far so good. keeping my fingers crossed. Love the larger size,4.8.

My favorite WASHER in the last 30 years.

This washer is great. Cleans well, lets me know when my clothing is ready to Go in the dryer(good app), is heavy(doesn’t walk) and was a great price.

Good product but!

Good washer but in two years time the blue rubber seal at the door got loose resulting in water leak while running washer. Requested GE support, hope this is covered under 10 year limited warranty.

DOOR CANNOT CHANGED TO OPEN ON OPPOSITE SIDE

Before you purchase this product, please be aware that the door CANNOT be moved to open to the other side. It can only be opened from the right side. If you do hire someone to change it out, IT VOIDS THE WARRANTY according to GE!!!!!

Love the capacity

So far, the washer has preformed as expected. The capacity is much better than our previous appliance. It has just the right amount of selections for specific fabrics. It is much more efficient than our last washer.

Great so far!

So far, we are very pleased with our new washer. We have only had it for one month, so it is too soon to know if there are any issues. It has many features that we have not used yet. We do love the large capacity of this machine.

Replaced previous model

I hope it lives longer than the previous model, as I had to replace the motor 9 months ago and then it shorted out and could not be fixed. So, I purchased the new model as my dryer still is working and I am one of those whom has to have things match. If this one only lasts 6 years, I will probably try a different brand. Fingers crossed because I actually love this machine.
