Would RecommendThese bulbs are very bright (1600 Lumens) and the Daylight hue is perfect to bring the space alive. I first installed these for my mom (86yr old / 95% Blind). They help her a great deal with her diminished sight. I liked the feel of her house so much that I replaced all my bulbs with these too and it has made a difference. Our home feels more cheerful with the brighter lighting. Highly recommend, especially for anyone with diminished eyesight.

Nice Light Quality, But Poor Longevity
Would Not RecommendThe light quality from this bulb is nice. There was no visibly observable stroboscopic flicker. However, the filaments started failing and some would start to fail and flash/flicker (not stroboscopic) This product was obtained as a warranty replacement for another pair of GE Refresh HD 100-Watt EQ Daylight lamps (frosted lens/non-filament style) which also suffered from premature failures.
The return process was easy.
Would RecommendThe kitchen overhead light was just like the one I have. My friend was able to put the pull chain back into the fixture that I have. So, I returned the new fixture that I bought. The lightbulbs are nice and bright.
