Would RecommendThese are nice bulbs with a soft white color. I recently replaced all of my outdoor house lighting from bright white LED to these soft white LED. These GE bulbs were not only lightweight but leaves a nice warm white/soft white light and my home looks so much better. In addition, I accidentally dropped a bulb from a 6 foot height while trying to install it and the bulb still worked!

Use these in soffit lights. Work great. Last long.
Would RecommendAlthough these bulbs do not specify use for outdoors they do say useable for damp locations. I use them in cove lights in our soffit and have no problems with them in that application. Using the for 8-12 hours per day I just had my first one burn out after about 5 years which compared favorably to the advertised lifetime — and the other 5 bulbs are still going strong.
