This is my 2nd purchase!

I love this GE drip coffee maker so much after my 1st purchase that I just purchased my 2nd of this same model. I like the bold setting for slower brewing that is needed when brewing cocao ground raw cocoa beans) with regular coffee to make my own iced mochas! Thus saving $$ and not having to frequent Starbucks! I highly recommend this drip maker model!

Great tasting coffee

Only used once so far but easy set up and directions. Keeps coffee hot for two hours. Filters not needed is bonus

It brews ok, but horrible design and owners manual

If you're looking for how to manage the "Cleaning" notification, here's the TL;DR from the poorly written manual: 1) Go to page 7 for the descaler ratios in step 1. Fill tank with your descaler solution. IGNORE steps 2 - 7 in the "Removing Mineral Deposits" section. 2) Place empty brew basket in coffee maker and empty carafe on the hot plate. 3) Go to page 5 or 6 (depending on your model), look for Function selection "C" for instructions on how to engage "clean" mode. This coffee maker works well. However I wish that it came with a way to identify the amount of coffee it makes. The instructions do not specify.

Very efficient

Works and looks great! The design and color matches our kitchen.

Timer is contrary.

The coffee maker is great. But, the timer is not easy to set. I gave up and just fill the basket and start it when I am up in the morning.

Looks good and brews good!

We like how fast this coffee pot brews, as well as how many cups it holds! It's nice that the lid comes off of the carafe for cleaning, but it's really difficult to pour the last bit of water or coffee out of the pot due to the design. Overall we love it though - it looks so great on the countertop!

Love top to pot screws on, easy to wash and fill

I've looked for a long time to find a coffee maker I really like. This is it. It fit all my criteria and I love it. I gave it 4 stars because after having it one month the top is just slightly warped. I don't know if it's from steam or what.

Simple to use.

The only problem is that a very fine film of grounds remain in bottom of my cup. Never had that when using a paper filter.

Good coffeemaker

This coffeemaker works well. We particularly like the carafe because it doesn't drip when you pour. The filter, however, does drip when you remove the carafe.

Great Features, wishing BOLD was a little stronger

We're extremely happy with our purchase. The ease of cleaning and refilling the built-in filter is wonderful. The only thing we would change is the strength of each brew. In order to get to our desired strength, 10 cups of water with 14Tbsp of coffee grounds is sufficient consistently. Unfortunately, the "BOLD" option isn't suitable.
