Works perfectly.

Because of past experience with GE appliances, we upgraded to this GE dryer when making options selection during the purchase of a new home. Dryer works as advertised, making short work and efficiently drying clothes.

Catastrophic Drum Failure Within Two Years

We were very happy with this dryer at first, but within two years of purchasing it, the internal components failed and destroyed the drum. It suddenly started making a loud clunking noise, which turned out to be the drum being torn apart from the inside. The damage was severe, including a gouge about 1/4 inches wide that extended nearly all the way around the drum. We had a repairman inspect it, and he said he had never seen anything like it. Great purchase

This dryer is efficient, has a nice capacity and easy to operate. I’m sure it’s way more efficient than the dryer that was replaced and purchased in 2009

Decent

Door had scratches all over it, had to order a replacement part. Machine also is not great at detecting moisture. Stops before the clothes are fully dry, so I use the wrinkle setting to fluff.

Lemon purchase

Shuts off a few seconds after starting and have to keep turning on . Often times have to use time setting

Love the WiFi connection

The dryer works as advertised. I wish the “clothes are dry” notification was louder, but the WiFi connection is great and notifies me when the clothes are dry!

This dryer dries loads quickly and evenly! Offers many drier options that makes each load perfectly!

Good dryer but nightmare of a dryer vent

Dryer vent is horrendous to deal with. Otherwise a good efficient dryer.

Very nice dryer

Love capacity. Preset settings and setting options are spot on. Super quiet operation.only issue is the lint trap filter was made with defects when manufactured. The mesh does not properly fit frame leaving gaps that lint blows through

Good dryer

More than adequate dryer. Compared to my prior GE dryer that lasted 15 years this one collects lint more efficiently. The only down side is that the “normal” dry cycle often needs extra minutes added to complete the job.

Don't Buy! Horrible product!

The product last less 4 months before failing! Don't buy this product! The dryer no longer produces heat to dry anything.

Great Value

High capacity, simple and well made. It does a good job of drying large loads quickly.

Look elsewhere for a better machine

Lint screen is bazaar! Lint keeps blowing back into clothes. It is harder than it needs to be to clean. The end of cycle alert signal is so quiet, it is useless. These two things alone would have made me seriously look at another manufacturer.

Love it all the features very quietmost of all like all the different cycles and size so much easier than reaching down in side a tub!

Powerful dryer

So far this dryer is great. It is a better quality dryer. I recently purchased a Samsung that lasted 3 months. But that being said was a blessing in disguise because this GE dryer is so much nicer with a better selection of cycles and features. The capacity that it can hold is extremely convenient. I am pleased with the performance of this dryer.
