Not worth it

This machine has been a nightmare. Anything beyond 4 towels and you can hear a belt grind noise for an hour. The impeller doesn’t stay in place and has literally flown out in loads and broken. The amount of soap doesn’t match the load. We can’t wait to not have this machine anymore. I highly recommend NOT buying it. The controls don’t function as they should and have broken numerous times.

We love our washer and dryer. We wash lots in our beach rental and it makes such a difference in cleanliness of our linens.

Very disappointed!

I purchased this washer along with the dryer about 5 years ago. It was great for the first couple of years then the detergent holder quit working. Next the hydraulic lid broke so you have to be careful that it doesn’t slam shut & break the glass. Then the basket started making a horrible loud noise when it was on agitate, but only on occasion. I also don’t feel the clothes are getting clean like they used to. I never do large loads. I keep my loads small so I feel the clothes are getting clean. ...

Top and bony of washer started rusting.

The rust started after about three years. The rust is also on the front of the wash. The washer was bought new and been in one location in our house the whole time in a controlled environment.

Big Loads and Automatic Dispenser

This machine has been great! The automatic detergent dispenser has saved me money and mess. The basket is huge so I am able to wash king-size comforters without a hassle. Never had a problem with things getting clean! We have had this washing machine for 7 years and we just had our first problem. A water leak and its still leaking with a new seal. We will try the bearings next. However, we have a big family and this is the first problem. I'm pretty happy with this washer!

The worst washing machine I have ever owned

Nothing but problems from the GE washer. After owning for six years, it has been serviced four times and today it stopped working because the start button is broken. No replacement part is available, so we are out of luck. Never again will I purchase GE products. The microwave, oven, washer, dryer, refridgerator have ALL needed major repairs over the course of 5 years.

Very quiet when agitating

Had very little trouble with the device until the start button spring broke.

It blew up

I have had this washer for 4.5 years and I was okay with it even though it got sooooo loud (vibration Con͏t͏r͏ol is a lie). Then the other night, in the middle of a cycle, the top of the washer blew off, including clip bolts and everything holding the washer together....I’m just glad no one was next to it when it happened because someone could have really gotten hurt! I will be very hesitant to buy another GE washer...

Do Not Buy

One month out of warranty, the detergent dispenser stopped working. 5 years later, now the fabric softner dispenser is also not working. Never seems to spin right - clothes are always WAY wetter than they should be. Also, when washing sheets they get all twisted - I mean really bad. I wonder if they are really getting clean. I truly believe a washer with less gadgets would have been A LOT better.

ABSOLUTE JUNK!!!

I have to wash my clothes several times WITH an extra rinse to get the detergent and lint off them! The water level barely covers half of the clothes! I’m so mad i’m going to have to buy another washer! Here’s a picture of my clothes AFTER “washing” them with half the amount of soap and an extra rinse the first time and TWO MORE WASHES WITH NO SOAP! We have a special needs child who will often leak his diaper (he’s 16 so imagine the amount of urine). I need a washer that can clean!!!!!!!!

Loved this washer at first....

I purchased this washer in 2013. In 2016 thebuttons on the front panel broke and I could not change the load sizes. Fortunately, the washer was still under warranty so the cost for repair was covered. Then in December 2017 the same problem happened and it is no longer covered under warranty. garbage after 3 years

We have had this washer for three years, the main basket came loose taking everything else inside the washer down with it. It now leaks everywhere and is completely destroyed its self. worked great for three years though!

Washer is junk.

Purchased March 2014 had to replace it (warranty) now on second one now its 1/2018 and have to buy another Washer bearing for tub is junk...

I would never buy GE appliance agin.

My sister and I bought this washing machine from to different stores 4 years ago... within 1 year the my machine had to be replaced. The washing cycle is too long and your clothes are still dirty. The start button half works. The bleach and timer button don't work. I have to stand for at least 5 or more minutes holding down the start button before it comes on. My sister had the switch board replaced twice. Water is leaking from the back of both machine. When it is spinning...it sounds like someo...

Do not buy!

This washer leaves clothes dirty and wrinkled! I will never buy a GE product like this again.

Can not leave this Washer unattained

This washer will not stay in balance. This washer does not rinse clothes very well, have to run 2nd wash cycle.. The water levels are very inconsistent. Takes a Very Long time to wash a load of clothes
