Disappointed to say the least…

I have had to have this washer serviced over and over since my purchase. Finally replaced seal on door and now replacing one of the two motors. Leaks from bottom (fills the pedestal drawer in the bottom) always off balance and doesn’t rinse and drain so I constantly have to the repeat drain/spin cycle. A COMPLETE LEMON!!!!

Front loader

Tired of softner emptying into Washer as soon as I close drawer. Repairman came out twice in first year. It never stopped leaking. I have had GE products all of my life and have been happy. Right now I would not recommend GE. Being a front loader is what I like best about this washer. At my age, a top loader is hard on me

GE Front loader broken

This machine has not lasted long at all. It’s barely 5 years old and it seems that the pump is gone on it. It will not pump out water. I have cleaned out the bottom filter had to use shallow pans to continuously dump the water out. Not happy with this machine may have to go to a Bosch.

2nd repair in 3 years.

We do have a large family, and use the washer frequently. We had the unit brand new three years ago. The first year was great. We have had a repair each of the next two years. The 10 year warranty for specific parts didn't help. I would like to buy the GE washer we had when I was a kid that went 15 years without a problem.

Unhappy

I am very disappointed with my GE front-load washer (model GFW650SSN2WW). Not long after owning it, I began experiencing ongoing issues where the machine starts a cycle, runs briefly, and then stops with an H2O error code. failed too soon

Was doing fine until the main board went bad after 4 1/2 years. The warranty is only 1 year on 95 percent of the Washer. Only the motor is warrantied for 10 years.

Leaks

Had this washer for three years. Front door has been leaking soap and water. Called to have it repaired every year. The soap dispenser I love but the drawer is always wet and gets gunky have to wipe it out often.

Complete Lemon!

The worst washer I have ever owned. I have two of the same models in my home. Both have been installed less than three years and have been repaired three different times. Both leak from the bottom in the same exact spot

Buy an extended warranty!!

This washer lasted all of 2.5 years before the main control board went bad. It locked up the door, which required a total disassembly of the front of the machine to remove it. After installing a new switch it buzzed constantly as the switch was trying to lock constantly if the door was shut. A myriad of error codes caused us to junk this and not put a new board in it for fear of something else (inverter or motor) being damaged. Unacceptable. Junk

Piece of crap needs a new circuit board after 3 years. Will cost 3/4 of cost to buy new just to fix. What junk. Do not buy. Also had to replace the matching dryer drum because apparently it was so thin that it got a crack in it from use.

Terrible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this washer in 2020 and finally got it installed in our remolded bathroom in the beginning of 2021. We do about 5 loads of wash each week and the unit has already lost the front door seal and not the door lock switch has failed. So our unit has done roughly 650 loads of wash and failed twice already.

Leaks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Leaking water for the second time in three years. Replaced the drawer and then started leaking again. They are very aware of the problem but do nothing about it. Definitely a design flaw and they should replace the units for customers. Very disappointed

Don’t buy it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only feature that works is the primary washing feature. The auto sense has not worked since the purchase. All special features do not either. About one a month we have to rewatch clothing due the fact the clothes were not actually cleaned.

Frontloader washer

Great front loader

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best front loading washing machine I’ve had. I had sworn to never buy another due to the mildew issue on most. This has never smaller badly or built up anything inside the door. Holds a large load and has many cycles to choose from.

3 1/2 year failed.

Mother board failed after 3 1/2 years. Never did spin well. Not a happy person.

This product has quit 2 years after owning. My parents own same machine and having same issues only owing 2.5 years
