Difficult to install. Leak from bottom

I was excited about my new ge disposal. I had a hard time install under sink, its too difficult, The badger was wayyy easier to hang. I was disappointed more at the end though, It was leaking on the inside, water dripp from the bottom. I am so inconvenienced now. I think I got a faulty one. I will still give it another try. No more badger for me.

Powerful yet smooth

No time install

Simple install, done in 40 minutes. Replaced our 15 year old GE GFC720N Garbage Disposal with a new GE GFC720C cause it worked great, till it didn’t.

Terrible

Brand new installation in a new home. Water leak drip from beneath the disposer and has ruined a brand new kitchen cabinet. 100% certain water is leaking from inside the disposer to the outside. I've previously used MANY GE disposers for decades with NO issues and no leaks. For the record, I'm a GE retiree. Very disappointed.

Not as expected

Expecting a quieter operation then the replaced GE 1/3hp but not by much. Low quality splash guard, permitted water to splash back, replaced with old splash guard.

Difficult install

Very difficult installation. Rubber stops piece from sitting correctly. All plastic parts below sink.

Too early to decide

Though I thought the instructions were clear, my plumber had trouble with the sink flange and found the easy mount was not that that easy to actually mount. The product is much quieter than the decade old Kenmore and makes short work of small scraps. Makes an odd high pitch sound when it is about done, but seems OK.

Looks Good

Installation took less than 45 min, that time includes removing my old disposal, very easy for the DIY person. I have not had an opportunity use it but a couple of days so I am limited to information on how well it works over time, it is quiet.
