Great Garage Refrigerator

This is a great garage refrigerator. I like the freezer on the top which allow plenty of space in the fridge space for drinks, leftover, pizza boxes.

Horrible!!

Two things First they suggest using 2nd and 4th tiers for best flow when you do that you can't place anything in bottom rack , really impractical Second arrived and faint brown stain lines on back and sides when tried to exchange the exchange one was worse

No freezer light

Fridge was a second one, garage type for our basement. All seemed great until I found it does not have a light for the freezer compartment. Frankly shocked to see that, seems like a very basic item that I would never have thought to ask about. Expected to be there as much as a door or a power cord. Would have ranked much higher with that light.

humming noise is so LOUD

just had this refrigerator installed on Saturday and the humming noise, or whatever it’s called while it’s running, is so LOUD! My God I can’t believe I bought a refrigerator from somebody like GE that is doing this crap! everything I’ve looked at online says 24 to 48 hours for it to stabilize and then it should be fine, but still doing it almost constantly!

Not Worth It

Refrigerator did not get below 42 degrees. Two different techs looked at it and they could figure out. The next step according to the techs was to dismantle the refrigerator. I was not too happy. After 30 days without a working refrigerator in my house, GE finally replaced it. The replacement runs almost constantly

Loving It So Far

I've only had it about a month, but so far it's been excellent. Our last one quit unexpectedly and we had to buy one quickly. This refigerator is for our Garage and stoes extra food and soft drinks mainly. The price was right and it's big enough for our needs. This one is actually a little smaller than our last one, but it seems bigger. The freezer is bigger, but even though the bottom is smaller it still seems bigger. Loud and runs very often

Capacity is a bit less than our previous refrigerator of the same exterior size. The compressor runs very often and it is much noisier that the old fridge. It is garage rated and would be fine in a garage but I don't recommend it for a kitchen.

Easy to clean, looks great

I wanted a larger simple refrigerator, easy to clean inside and out. I got it.

Noisy

Couldn't get past the noise and started a return within 4 hours of delivery. On the plus side, is very efficient. Fridge cooled to 37F within 2 hours. Decided to upgrade to a 3 door bottom freezer LG. Lowes made the whole process surprisingly easy. Kudos to a great local team.

Nice Fridge!

This cycles much less frequently than our old Whirlpool. It is also runs much louder but I like the coil/fan design. Fridge stays at constant temp. The adjustable shelving is nice. The LED light is sufficient. Makes ice fairly fast, faster than our older fridge.

Good size

This unit was purchased with the intent of installtion in the covered patio as secondary refrigeration/freezer. Suitable for our needs. I am concerned that when I close the refrigerator door the freezer door pops open. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong? Please advise. I’m fearful that the freezer door will remain ajar after I walk away.

Good interior

Nice machine but both bottom door shelves broke. Recieved lowest drawer replacement but not second from bottom (part 108)

Perfect for 2nd refrigerator!

Great fridge/freezer to replace a 4 year old Samsung which never worked from day 1. This new GE is in our lower level entertaining area and is primarily used to hold platters of food, beer and surplus foods that don’t fit into our primary refrigerator. It was also purchased for the top freezer to store foods that I buy on sale in bulk, like meats, summertime veggies, etc. This fridge has a really nice big freezer with lots of space on nicely adjustable shelves and door pockets.
