G.E. 4 Slice Toaster / Versatile/ Quality

Upon placing my first slice of toast in the GE 4 - Slice Toaster, the toast came out perfectly even on both sides and perfectly brown set at the 4 ½ setting, maybe a tinge of a difference but still pleased. A slight odor at the beginning to most likely burn off the elements. After that, the toaster was fine. Easy to use settings illuminated in blue and the dial settings have positive clicks. A good choice!

We like this nice looking toaster. The controls are very practical with backlit buttons and the setting knob detents.

Not Quality Toaster

I bought this toaster based on reviews. I did not want a cheap inferior quality toaster. I thought I was getting quality. We have had the toaster 6 days. From day 1 it has not toasted evenly. One side is perfectly toasted and the other half done. This is not quality! This toaster also takes a long time to toast. We could live with that if the toaster toasted evenly. I feel that I have wasted my money. I think that I even have to pay to return this toaster for another one!

True Settings

This is a nice large slot toaster. It makes great toast with it's settings pretty true. The only issue I have with it is the push down handle, which seems to be an afterthought to an otherwise well designed appliance.

Toast doesn’t toast

My second new GE toaster does NOT toast both sides of the bread. One side is only slightly toasted. Toasters have been around for over a century….why can’t it accomplish the simple toast! I want a refund….not a replacement.

Great Features

I love my G E 2-Slice Toaster. The Bagel button and Frozen Button are very cool features that I use a lot.

Beautiful unit.

Product is beautiful, works well, however, does not toast evenly. Outer elements toast more than the inner ones. We have only used the unit 2X though.

Great toaster with positive settings for toasting

I especially like this toaster cause it has a knob that has a positive click when turned for different levels of toasting. I returned a Cuisinart toaster cause it had a loose turn knob! And it makes great toast-a bit light in places but overall a great replacement toaster. Worth the higher price!

Great features

Just got it, and have to say, that I love the design and features - looks good with my other GE appliances. Toasts evenly and more quickly than the one I replaced.

2-slot toaster for toast and English muffins

Great for an old guy that likes toast for morning and sandwich's plus it's great for English muffins too. Easy to set and easy to control.

4-slice stainless steel toaster

So far I like the toaster. My last two were Cuisinarts. They are more expensive but don’t toast evenly. The GE maybe takes a little longer but I like that the bagels or rolls come out crisp on the outside but softer on the inside. The controls however are a little harder to turn.

Cute and functional

I think this a great look for the price point. It doesn't feel particularly sturdy, but seems better than others in this price range.

The features are great.

Loving this so far. Works very well and toasts bread & bagels just right.
