Would RecommendI was worried the turntable was too small and am pleasantly surprised that it works for my dishes just fine.

Love the settings included with this model!
Would RecommendSo far, so good. It looks great and is very quiet. I've only had it a few weeks, and basically just heat up or re-heat things in it. I dont use it to actually "cook" food (though you could.) But I like the evenness of the popcorn setting and also the reheat and beverage settings. This is a replacement for my 29 year old GE over the stove microwave from 1997 that didn't have all those settings. I hope this new one will last at least half that long!

Fingers Crossed
Would RecommendWe installed this above the stove microwave because it was the same model we had before. We're hoping this one will last longer than 6 years & 10 months before the magnetron stopped working.

Works hood
It is a good microwave. Easy to replace my previous ge with this one. Door is cheaply made but otherwise okay.

Really Nice Microwave!
Would RecommendWe had a 28-year old GE microwave we really liked so we went with the JVM6175DKWW as a replacement. It turns out (at least for us) the sensor aspect really helps cook foods properly. For example, baked potatoes always cook perfectly! I installed the unit mostly myself but used help getting it up on the wall and in place. The controls operate nearly identical to our old unit so there has been little learning curve. We've used it a couple of weeks now and have no real complaints but it would be ...

No longevity
Would Not RecommendWe continue to buy this model because we know it fits exactly over our range… it lasts about 3 years max and quits heating.. very inexpensive but does not have any longevity. We find ourselves once again replacing and reinstalling…You get what you pay for…

Missing feature!
Would Not RecommendI purchased this GE microwave oven to replace my GE microwave that was installed in 2014. I thought I was getting the same features in this newer model since it said sensor cooking. However, my older model had a setting called my plate which allowed you to select the kind of vegetable meat or other item that you were cooking then select that specific vegetable and it start. The microwave provided specific cook times based on the item you entered fresh or frozen and it came out perfect every time...

Horrible quality
Would Not RecommendThe microwave is a very low quality. Within 2 months of purchase the handle is peeling like it was covered by tin foil. It is embarrassing and you should be extremely embarrassed that a brand well known is making the cheapest quality product. I will not recommend and I will show everyone so they think twice before wasting their money.

Smoother opening
Would RecommendI have this microwave in less than a month and so far everything is working fine except it’s not smooth door closing and it makes loud sound when shutting the oven door.

Replaced of existing GE microwave
Replacement of similar GE unit that lasted about 7 years. Good for home use. Maybe longevity has improved??

Fine For What I Need
this replaced an earlier model of a similar GE microwave--w/o sensors--which a damaged by pulling the door open too suddenly and violently. i'd had it for 6 or 7 years. the new one is fine although i find the sensor function, which i only use in beverage and reheat, a bit problematic. in beverage it tends to heat too hot. i use it often to reheat a pasta/veggie+ stew which i first tried to use the vegetable setting for. that would usually end up in an error message. now i use the soup setti...

harder to install
Replaced same model number from 2017. All new mounting bracket and screw hole locations. Thought they might be the same as was the same model number. But Not. this microwave is much noisier than the one it replaced. Hope it lasts as long.
