Good color

Disposal worked, but it rusted after just a few years. I used it sparingly, then the hopper ate itself. I had to rate it a “1” or I could not leave a review.

Easy to install, manual describes sep by step what do you have to do even tells which tools you'll need

Not Noisy

Love the unit and it is not noisy at all. Will definitely purchase another GE product.

Mediocre disposal

Not thrilled with this disposal. Causes the drain to. Run slow. Not enough power to provide good suction through the drain. This disposal was already installed in the new home we bought. It would not have been our choice.

Awesome

Nice and compact, it took me about 30 minutes to take the old one out and put this one in. This was also my first time taking one out and putting one back in.

Rivets broke within 4 years

The rivets broke in 4 years of normal use. Very disappointed. I'm hoping we have a warranty for this.

came w/the house, only one would fit

I generally like it, but there's so many things that can't be placed. I also have to run it regularly, or it freezes, then have to run water for 30 seconds, or my drain clogs.

It works!

The unit works. I need to find a way to get the build up on top of the plate inside the unit.

So far so good...

Last one lasted 10 years, hopefully this will be just as good. Bought a similar model so installation was a snap. (Same size, all the fittings matched up.)

Works good

Good product seems to be working fine. Only have had installed for about a week because of the pick-up issue I had. Order this and few other things to be picked up in the store. Ordered on the first of the month and took all month and multiple trips to the store to get everything. Cause the store will not hold anything if you don't come get it right when they say it is there.

Impressed

Great product. Easy install. More quiet than the brand it replaced. Very inexpensive. Was not expecting much due to the price, but thoroughly impressed so far...

Second as good as the first

I had a General Electric 1/3 Hp disposal for 16 years when it finally gave out. Replaced it with same size and model. Works great!

Great Disposal

This is a replacement upgrade for a 1/3 hp unit which had a broken blade. It was shipped promptly and actually arrived earlier than promised. The installation was easy. The wiring was the hardest because the existing wiring was so stiff and hard to fit into the hole provided. It is quiet and there were no leaks. Very satisfied and would purchase again.

It Grinds Up the Garbage!

I love hearing the disposer operate. I can tell from the sound that it is top quality.

I just bought this yesterday and installed it today and i works great.

Came with the house

It's a garbage disposal. It seems to handle whatever I put in it without sounding like it's going to bog down on me...but then, I try to not overload it. Surprisingly quiet compared to some I've had in the past.

Nice and easy

This disposal was much easier to install than the last one I put in. It is quieter than the old one but not that much quieter. I ordered it online and had it shipped to the store since the stores don't stock it. It took longer than expected to arrive at the store. It was also smaller in size than the old one that had the same rating. I would recommend this unit so far.

Horrible

I ordered this unit thinking that it would be a good value, boy was I wrong. The grinding unit broke just two weeks after the warranty expired. I cannot recommend.
