For back up and help the central air conditioning in my 2800 square foot ranch home. Both unit have performed as advertised, saving me $$$. Amazingly quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really lovely cooling and quietness. I wish it was designed bit better for draining and keeping clean - I do a deep clean at the end of the season with soap and a hose. Also the edges of the unit leave a lot of gaps around the window sill which requires a lot of tape and foam to seal up.

Bedroom AC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the quietest AC I've ever used, and does the job really well. I also love having the app and being able the schedule it to come on every night so by the time I go to bed, it's already cool.

Disappointing and not worth what I paid for it

I had my last AC for almost 10 years but when it started to get moldy, I knew it was time for a new one. I did a bit of research and decided on this Frigidaire model due to the good reviews and had high hopes. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a bad investment and has been a disappointing waste of money. Cool & Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have this unit in our 2nd floor bedroom which gets a lot of direct sunlight and heats up quite a bit. This window AC does a good job at keeping the room cool and the noise is minimal. You can definitely hear it but it's basically just white noise which I find helpful when sleeping.

Cool, quiet, and WIFI operation...Perfect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased our window a/c unit to supplement our HVAC system during our hot and humid weather in central Virginia. We are pleased with how quiet it runs, its ability to cool, and now that the WIFI software has been updated, we are very happy to use the connection to both monitor the room temperature and to operate the unit using the WIFI link. We ordered three more units to cool the family house at the beach.

Frigidaire GHWQ083WC1 Window AC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve purchased 4 in the last month and they were a breeze to install. Took less than 1/2 hour to get up and running and that includes the time it took to clean the windows. Quiet and efficient. You can barely hear them running.

Best Air Conditioner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing air conditioner, it is so quiet forget it’s on, it keeps the room the whole room cold not just in front of the air conditioner.

Nope.

The touch pad and remote do not work. All I can do is power on and off; can’t change the temperature or the speed. Also, the Lowe’s staff lost my order and had it still in receiving for over a week.

Doesn't cool and Lowe's terrible

My ac doesn't cool down since the beginning. I received it with the panel where the bottoms are broken, and Lowe's just gave me Frigidaire phone number. As this wasn't enough, I called to Frigidaire, they were willing to replace it, and asked for a picture of a tag that was supposed to be on the wire. The tag wasn't there. They said it's a sign of a refurbished product. Lowe's gave me a refurbished product when I paid for a new one. This sounds pretty close to fraud. I need a solution for this i...

The product is fine. I mistakenly thought I was getting a larger AC than I thought.

Cold and quiet!

Easy install. Very quiet. I love how it cools two rooms master and office. I barely hear it running. It has been in use for over a month now on some very hot days/nights.

Not very cold, lowest temp setting is 60 F.

Frigidaire A/C 10,000 BTU Model GHWQ103WC1, is quieter than most but on Hi Fan speed it is noisy. The lowest temperature setting is 60 degrees Fahrenheit but feels like 68 and does not cool the room below 73 on a 85-degree day. If the day is 90 or above room won't fall below 78. This A/C can run 24 plus hours if needed but don't expect indoors to get below 73 degrees even when overnight gets near 60. It just does not keep the indoors cold just cooler than outdoors by a few degrees. Also, it rust...

Defective product

Half of the frontal panel doesn't work. It doesn't cool properly and has a bell sound that comes from inside the unit. Lowes never picked up my calls, customer service is terrible.
