We have been using this for 4 years now and through several floods in our basement and it has been great.

Very disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this item 15 months ago and it no longer works. Within 3 minutes of starting it, the dehumidifier begins icing up on the coils and no longer collects moisture.

Works great at the beginning

I bough this product 3 years ago and it starts to decline after 1 and a half year. Now I can't set my machine above 65 degrees of humidity. The guy at the frigidaire service said to me this morning, put it in the garbage and buy a new one. Big response.

My Dehumidifier had an error code and was replaced under warranty!

Good product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a great a set it and forget it unit. I put it in my basement, set the humidity where I want it and it turns on when it needs to, drains to my pump--even the filter is easy to clean.

The longest lasting dehumidifier

One year life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unit stopped working after about one year. Kept getting error code F0 which seems to be common according to the internet for this model. I contacted Frigidaire and they replaced "no charge" with a different unit and model. Hopefully this one will last longer.

fine performance

Simple and reliable

Good dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this several months ago for a damp basement, & to reduce humidity in the photocopier/computer printer rooms, alternately. It is effective, & I put a drain hose into a bucket, so I don't have to remove the built in pail daily. The only unusual item is that on hot days, the exhaust from the fan is pretty warm, more than I would expect.

Good value, effective, easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Figidaire dehumidifier. Although it has a smaller capacity, the controls are identical, and has a similarly excellent performance, albeit with lesser capacity. The cost is competitive. I can recomend it without reservation.

Dehumidifier Failed Again

Bought this a little over a year ago to replace an older Frigidaire humidifier that also threw an F0 code. Well, so did this one. I have followed all instructions (power cord directly to an outlet, tried different outlets, cleaned the filter, have in a free area, and unplugged in low humidity seasons), but here we are again. I was very happy with the humidifier until it started failing again. I have followed the troubleshooting tips to no success.

Great replacement for my previous model

A solid purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use, purrs like a kitten, and brought our basement humidity Level in check immediately. i like the notification sound when the bucket fills, though you can also run a hose off of the unit for continuous running. I also like the filter cleaning notification.

Premature Death

Third season, F0 Code of Death. Filter is clean, voltage is nominal, temperature within recommended range. What other parameters under control of the user could be responsible? If none, then what design failure is throwing that code? One surmises that the "F" may indicate "Freon" and the "0" indicates absence of same, which would explain why no moisture is being produced. Extremely disappointed in this unit.

Failed too soon

This dehumidifier worked great for a little over a year, then FO code. Ugh! I see others have had same problem

Very Efficient!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace old 14 year old Frigidaire dehumidifier that stopped working a few weeks ago. Wanted to stay with Frigidaire since we had good luck in the past. So far, this is working great and is much quieter than previous one.

Worked well...when it worked...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The FFAD033R1 we purchased a couple of years ago has stopped working sending the seemingly common "F0" fault code. I've checked the voltage and plugged it into multiple outlets only to get the same "F0" code. The filter is clean and the temperature is a typical 60-75 degree range for a northern basement. I would have expected to get more than a couple of years out of a Frigidaire/Electrolux product.
