Extremely Disappointed – Frigidaire Refrigerator Failed After 1.5 Years

I purchased this Frigidaire refrigerator based on the glowing reviews and positive feedback, but after just 1.5 years of use, it stopped keeping food cold. I’ve tried everything—adjusting the temperature, checking the seals, and even unplugging it for a while—but nothing seems to work. It’s incredibly frustrating to spend good money on a product that fails so soon. I expected better durability and quality from such a well-known brand. At this point, I’m left with spoiled food and a refrigerator...

Spacious but poor quality ‘stainless steel door’

I bumped my head on the freezer handle so many times I removed it and just pull freezer door open without handle. The “stainless steel look” door is impossible to keep looking good and clean. Have tried many products, even some I saw on youtube, but nothing works. Always streaked and fingerprinted. Wd not recommend.

The leg broke of the fridge the 3rd time it was moved. It had to have a compressor replaced with in the 1srt year. the tray broke off the door.I bought the same refrigerator in 2023 that we bought in 2002. the fridge is not made as well as the previous one. The ice icemaker is a lot smaller than the standard ice tray(which is the size of the 2002 icemaker) and it doesn't make as many trays per day as the old one. It took 3 tries for the installation guys to get it to work and I hate it!!

Garbage

After 3 weeks with the unit we were having issues with the seal, we were told the only thing we could do was weight the freezer door with items and lean the fridge backwards. Now the seal has completely come apart from the fridge, only 1 year old.

Just what I needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My previous fridge was 12 years old and making weird noises. I found this model at a local furniture and appliance store, and knew it would fit the space in my kitchen, and the price was just right! So glad I was able to avoid the mess that happens when a fridge breaks down and the contents spoil. I'm very happy with my choice.

Simply the best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the word Frigidaire for all refrigerators like people use the word "Kleenex" to refer to all tissues! If that doesn't speak to the quality of the Frigidaire product, I don't know what does!

Good solid refrigerator - no bells or whistles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good, standard refrigerator. I am trying to adjust back to having a freezer on the top as my previous refrigerator had it on the bottom. It works well, no issues with operation. If I had one complaint, it would be the location or design of the handle on the freezer section; I keep hitting my head on it when it return to upright after looking in the refrigerator.
