Works well, but noisy!

Delivery people were great and didn't quit until job was done even after running into some problems getting it into the house.

Good purdchase

Fits well in the location and runs quitely. Only had it 2 days so not many comments to make on the freezer. At this time I am happy with my purchase.

Great size inside and out. Like the lock--just need more than one key to come with the unit. Like the controls on the outside door. Thanks so much for delivering the new freezer and taking away the old one.

Perfect Size Freezer!

The salesman was ever so helpful. Delivery took place in only two days and by very pleasant delivery men. Although there were a few marks on the freezer, the sales person, when contacted after delivery, took care of my concerns immediately. I am so satisfied with this purchase and prior purchases at Lowe's. I like the pull out basket on the bottom and the clips for separating items.

Great Freezer!

The Frigidaire 13.7 cu ft Upright Freezer works as promised. It's very easy to control the temperature with the digital dial on the front. The door alarm is also a great feature since the door has been left open on our old freezer, and we did not find out about it until the next day! This freezer will prevent incidents like that. Works as advertises: it deep freezes food.

replacing 6cf chest freezer

We are pleased to have this replace my 12+ year old chest freezee. Only reason I finally replaced it is because the seal gave out and I could not get a replacement. However it is pleasant to no longer have to bend over and dig through the chest freezer. This freezer has so far kept a very cold 7 degrees.

Overall Experience - EXCELLENT

I have purchased 3 major appliances in the last 2 months. My first purchase was a dishwasher from Sears and from start to finish, it was a very long & frustrating experience including not being able to get in touch with the salesman once the dishwasher was delivered. Freezer purchase

The product seems to run a lot. Have to wait for the electric bill to see how much it will cost over regular billing. It runs loud, too.

Very Disappointed with this Product

We have purchased Frigidaire products before. We fully expected this freezer to last 15 years. It conked out at 6 1/2 years. Not good. We had a certified technician come out to pronounce it dead and he said it would cost more to repair it than to replace it. How disappointing. Furthermore, the REPLACEMENT product on SALE is priced far above what we paid for this one! We cannot recommend this unit.

Perfect fit

This new freezer fits perfectly in my laudry room and runs very quietly. The space is adequate and I love the shelves in the door. The Lowe's delivery team was right on time with the delivery and were very professional and efficeirnt.

Excellent upright freezer

Bought this to replace a similar Frigidaire that conked out after about 15 years of service. This should be a step up over the old model as this one (being newer) should be more energy efficient. Also like that this model is frost free (had to defrost our old model) and it has an interior light (old model did not). Pull out basket at the bottom is also convenient. Only negative is that this model is louder than the old model (owners manual says that this is normal because it is a high efficiency...

Installed yesterday and so far so good . . .

Nothing to complain about at all. I like the textured finish, inside layout, and have not noticed any unusually loud noises. The Lowe's delivery guys were fantastic and explained what I needed to know. If there was anything I would change - I would add an outside temperature display rather than the setting. But a cheap thermometer to put inside was a good compromise.

Not 'Energy Friendly'

Bought this unit, without checking the 'Energy Star' rating. Honestly, in today's market, I assumed that all appliances sold were energy efficient - and at least had an 'Energy Star' rating. Wrong! Had I spent 5-10 minutes more, I would have bought a better unit - and probably for less money...

Short Life

Most appliances are meant to last 10+ years and this one lasted 3. Multiple problems with this unit. It stopped cooling one time without any high temp warning. We managed to save the food inside, unplug it for a couple days and plug it back in before the repairman came out and it was back to normal. 6 months later the high temp warning started going off but nothing on the inside was thawed so we locked it to make sure it was extra tightly closed, but the warning still kept going off.
