The Best Game on the Market

We have been playing Five Crowns for over a year now and it is addictive. Our friends now are hooked. You can played with several friends or with just two people. It is challenging and fun at the same time. You never get tired of this game. One round one person may have all the luck while the luck can turn on the next round. Give it a try and I am betting you will be hooked like we are!

Fun family card game I discovered on Cardanoir.com

I first heard about this game while browsing https://cardanoir.com and reading about different family card games. After trying it with my family, it turned out surprisingly fun and easy to enjoy. It’s the kind of game that fits well for casual family time and works for all ages.

Five stars but cards need to be plastic coated

Favorite game! PLEASE make high quality, plastic coated cards. The cards are cheap and get sticky. I’d pay for them!

We love this game. We have been playing it for several years and had given it to friends and neighbors. However, we just bought a new set and could tell that the cards were different. We’ve been playing with the new cards now for several weeks and do not like them at all. They tend to stick together and therefore are difficult to deal and play with. They feel like inferior quality cards.

Great FAMILY game

We bought this game about six months ago after playing with friends and we never got around to playing it. My husband found it in the top of the closet and tonight we are going to play it with some others whom has never heard of the game so it’s gonna be great playing it instead of everyone having their noses stuck in the TV or on their phones on Social Media.

Familiar and fun!

I love learning new (better) versions of games! This is similar to rummy, which was always one of my favorite card games growing up. It’s easy to pick up, and super fun to play! We were unsure of one part that wasn’t in the instructions, which is.. are we able to play off the cards in which we already played a run or book that are on the table. Great rummy game for families and groups

This is a great rummy game with a twist. There are rounds and the amount of cards you get goes up each round. Every round there is a different wild card (the card with the same number as the round). It’s simple and addicting. Even though it’s simple there is plenty of organizing and puzzling so you can go out and avoid getting points. This game is a great time for families and groups.

Five Crowns, a few frowns

We received this item in exchange for a fair review. We played this game with our 9 and 10 year olds as part of our family game night. The directions took some time getting through, and we had to revert back to them a couple times. Once we got the hang of it, the game was fun initially but once we got to 7 card matches, our kids started losing interest. Our 9 year old had some trouble remembering the types of matches she could make, so I think this game might do better with an older crowd. ...

New Game!

I received this item in exchange for a review. This family isn’t really a rummy playing family. But we had fun playing this game. We enjoyed the new graphics. This game will certainly be added to our card playing games.

Adding to our game nights again!

As a mom and teacher I've always loved the games from SET family games. I first learned about their games at a national gifted student conference. We added Five Crowns to our recent game night rotation. Players were ranging from 8 to grandma with everyone having fun. The game play is easy to learn and complexity builds as you go. Game night winner

We played this at our Boy Scout troop game night. They liked it enough to decide to bring it to the camp out this weekend. There were 4 players that were middle school age. Nobody had played a game with 5 suits before but the directions were clear and they were able to pick it up easily. It was fun. And we used the coordinating score pad to make it even easier

Rummy but more FUN

Very good game that had easy to understand rules for quick play start. Easy to socialize and chat during play. Rummy but more fun. You do need some extra time to play because of how many rounds of play. Love the rotating wild mechanic rule to keep your brain engaged in the game.

Strategic & Competitive

Five Crowns was quick to pick up and get started. Easy to learn; simple rules but gameplay reveals strategic depth. The first three rounds can be challenging to go out. Quickly became competitive. Attractive card art.

Super fun for all ages

Our family really enjoyed this game. It is very easy to learn and didn’t get boring at all. The suits are distinguishable and brightly colored. We highly recommend buying this game for your next game night.

Fun game!

I love rummy style games so I was excited to share this with family for a family game night. I like that it can be shortened - or paused and picked back up at a later time - which was nice if something came up. Each round went fairly quickly, at least initially. And it was a fun game of almost luck. We really enjoyed it - and also enjoyed the straight forward directions.

Different but not difficult

Game brunch with the girls! Tricky to pick up on at first but we started to get serious in the 5s and 6s. Will definitely have to play more to really get the hang of it. Dedicate some time for this one!

It Isn't Over 'Til the Kings Go Wild!

We had some friends over for a game night to try out Five Crowns and everyone involved absolutely loved this game. It is a twist on rummy style card games and was very easy to learn and play. Great Game

My game group sampled Five Crowns and enjoyed it. We agreed that the bright colors and graphics on the cards were a nice touch (a lot of artists in the group). Similar to Rummy you are making sets of cards to empty your hand...hopefully first, cards left in your hand at end of game are your points. Lowest points wins. Great game, will keep in rotation for our game night group.

Interesting, can’t think of anything better.

This game is absolutely addicting. If you love rummy/gin rummy and Phase 10, then this game is for you! It can take a minute to remember that the wild card changed with each round though. The beauty of someone going out before you is that you still have one opportunity to play what you have in your hand — assuming you have at least the minimum (3) of a run or set.
