Fiskars Gear Reduction Pruner makes cuts easier
Would RecommendWe are in our seventies, we've done a lot of do-it-yourself projects over the years, and our hands are worse for the wear. These gear reduction pruners actually reduce the effort required to make the cuts and are easier on our hands. I don't know of any other pruners that provider extra cutting power compared to the effort input. And the lock that keeps the pruner blades closed is out of the way so it is rarely accidentally engaged. I like this pruner so much I'm buying one for my sister as ...

Would RecommendWe have just standardized on Fiskars for garden tools and a lot of other sharp things around the house. Quality never varies, always good. The 'rolling hand grip' took some getting used to, but even if it seems weird, it works well. I trimmed up a small tree I had cut down, 10+ ft tall, until I hit the trunk part, with these pruners.
