Would RecommendI think these are probably pretty good overall, I just think they’re made fast and cheap, and you really shouldn’t expect it the last full 10 years. I have two of these installed in my house, manufacture date, December 2017, install date June 2018. One of them is clearly failing, But the failure mode is not described in the manual. They work until they dont.
Would Not RecommendHad these for 5 years. During that time they went off only once from cooking. Then all of a sudden I started getting the random 3 beeps. Vacuumed all the untis, checked all connections, replaced some and still random 3 beeps!!! Now I'm having complete false alarms! I'm going to just unplug them and stick up battery operated units cause I just can't anymore. There are so many reviews with similar complaints.
