A very good product - Teste for more than 8 years.

This is the second Pylon fan that I am purchasing. I used the first one for close to 9 years and it has been working perfectly. It is very silent and the remote did not fail, like most other manufacturers fans. So, when it was time to get another fan, I chose the exact same model (glad that it was still available) and I am enjoying it every night in my bedroom. Silence, gentle breeze, easy to install.... What else can you ask for?

Approx 5 years in and LOUD grinding noise

These silver ceiling fans look fantastic. We’ve had no issues with the LEDs. However at right around the 5 or 6 year mark of owning both of them (in separate bedrooms) began making an unbearably loud grinding noise. No one can sleep through that. Almost undoubtedly worn bearings. Since there’s apparently no oil port for the motor I’m left with a last ditch effort to remove and likely disassemble and see if I can salvage them before having to buy 2 more new fans. Don't waste your $

Bought this one for the kitchen. Seems decent enough, but upon installation, the LED lighting is no way bright enough for a kitchen. Not only that, the LED circuit board has gone out twice and I have only had this 2 years. It's nearly impossible to find a replacement LED board.

Do not buy this fan. The poor reviews are correct.

It’s beautiful but it doesn’t last. 3 1/2 years later the light quit working and now the remote no longer controls the fan.

Electronics failed in less than a year.

Bought 4 of these fans as they are aesthetically appealing. In less than 1 year, the electronics failed on 2 of the units, Buzzing noises and remote malfunctions are very common. Absolutely no response from customer service, DO NOT BUY, IT WILL FAIL!

High Maintenance

Within 1 year, there were multiple failing critical parts. Within a month or two of installation, the remote control sensor in the fan stopped working. So, no control of fan operation. I was able to replace just that part without replacing the whole ceiling fan. Then a few months after that, I had to replace the light bulb assembly. And you can't just replace the "bulb", it's not a standard bulb, and I could not find one on the secondary market (definitely not sold at Lowes stores). LED lights l...

Perfect Style

I love this fan. It moves a massive amount of air considering the size of it. It's also very stylish and gives more options with the different color blades. I had mine on the black side and it gives the modern vibe in the room. It also has a decent light. However, when I first got it the LED light kit was fine. maybe 2 months later, it exploded, not like fire but it made an audible pop. I think some of it might have melted. Looks good but not reliable

If you are looking for a very nice looking fan that runs quietly, that has a remote that only works part of the time, that doesn’t remember any previous settings when you turn the fan back on, that sometimes turns on by itself (I’m not kidding), then this fan is for you.

light issues

while the fan looks great, the lighting is too dim. with the diffuser off the lighting is much better. The remote is difficult to use, the buttons don't always work and have to be pressed multiple times to work. that becomes an issue when trying to turn off the fan, or if you have issues with your hands.

Time consuming

Seems to be holding up well, but plan on getting an engineer to help you put the freaking thing together...

Great Fans

I bought a total of four of the Fanimation ceiling fans and had them installed by an electrician in my place. The fans work great, both as a fans and as a ceiling light. Both the fans speed and light levels are adjustable using the hand-held remotes. When I brought our purchase to the register the cashier commented on how much she liked this model as she apparently had bought one. Made me feel good about the purchase and that feeling has been confirmed now that we are using the fans.
