Would RecommendUse them when planting bulbs, just a sprinkling in the hole and in goes the bulb. Gives the bulb food and an incentive to grow. Also good for the tomato beds.

I got tomatoes this year
Would RecommendI stopped growing tomatoes because some weird disease took over every year. Something I was reading showed that I blossom end rot due to a nutrient lockout because of the ph of the soil and the plant not being able to get the nutrients. The calcium in the bone meal solved my alkalinity problem and I'd forgotten how good homegrown tomatoes are.
