Falls apart right out of warranty.

Bought this machine with extended warranty for a bit over 2 years. Day after warranty expired, started making terrible clacking noise audible through the house. Paid $145 for diagnostic trip by authorized repairman assigned by Frigidaire, who said it's a bearing issue and cost of repair would be equivalent to new machine. Electrolux / Frigidaire offered $350 "after warranty fix" that consists of a Frigidaire repairman coming in, deciding it's not "economical" to repair the machine and keeping ...

Flooded my house

The rear hose connects to plastic piece in the rear. Broke one year after we bought it brand new. Repaired and now two years later, today, it broke again and flooded my house. Now I have to have my house mitigated because of a cheap plastic part on a three year old washer that has broke twice. How do I repair the same cheap plastic part a second time knowing that it may flood my house again!!??

Broke drum mounts just outside of warranty

Even if the drum mounts hadn't broken catastrophically, I wouldn't recommend this. It washed clothes admirably and handled all kinds of loads (until it didn't). But the filter basket can only be cleaned out by disassembling the machine from the back and inevitably dumping water on the floor. And no, the filter basket does not "self-clean." If you have to deal with pet fur, avoid this washer!

Beware

Dont shop with lowes. Delivery came, washer door is missing latch. We now will have to wait until they redeliver a new unit, missing work during the week now for their lack of quality control. Customer service sounded like they could care less. Never buying an appliance from here again.

Only worked for two weeks. Frigidaire is horrible!

Owned this washing machine for 1 1/2 months, and in that time it has only worked for two weeks. We are now on our third service call with no resolution in sight. Contacted Frigidaire customer service multiple times but they were no help. All they do is give fake apologies and tell you they will forward your complaint to the correct department. But nothing ever gets resolved. Never again Frigidaire.

1.5 years old and already failing

Unit worked fine for the 1st year. Then at 6 months past manufacturers warranty, unit is failing with E11 error code and won't complete any cycle. Contacted Electolux approved repair partner (on my dime, of course, as unit is no longer under 1 year warranty) and the technician is baffled. Yup, a side-loader is the way to go for large households! Wow! The faster spinning speed gets more water out of the clothes, so you don't have to run your energy-hungry dryer as long. drum rubs on door seal causes leak

1 year 2 months water on the floor drum wears a hole on door seal . Took 2 months to get repaired and its starting to rub a hole through the new seal. door never shut properly .Technician said front panel was a defect.still waiting for new panel,if it ever comes what a hassle old machine lasted 30 years

Not for pet owners

Pet fur will eventually clog the filter basket, making the washer slow to drain and giving you an E21 error code. This should be no big deal, except that the you can't access the filter basket without taking the washer apart --a lengthy process that involves removing the front of the washer and removing, among other things, a very difficult to reach hose clamp. Thorough wash

With the extra rinse cycle, the clothes come out without soap residue. Controls are easy to use and cover all scenarios that are important to me.

Banging drum

I returned the first one within the 48-hour window! For that one, the drum would hit the side in only the last five minutes of the cycle. BTW, Lowes gave me no hassle with the replacement, and I had the replacement in a few days. Replacement is much better but not perfect. Unfortunately, I missed the 48-hour windows because everything worked except when you set it for sanitary mode. It remains at 33 minutes; It never decreases to finish! Arrived broken

I was excited to get a brand new washer, however, it arrived broken. I didn't realize it was broken until after the 48 hour return policy time frame. The washer was missing parts to keep the washer tub stable so during the start of the spin cycle it was crashing into the sides of the washer. The suspension is completely broken. Do Not Buy!

Worst experience I’ve ever had with a washer! With in a month of buying them all my clothes are getting strange dirty spots all over them. Electrolux sent out a technician and never resolved. I wish I never purchased these. I will never buy anything that has the name Electrolux again. Will not give a second chance.
