Will not cut longer weeds. Only for grass.

Good for what it is!

I wanted something light enough to maneuver in areas adjacent to our home that are not accessible by my riding lawn tractor or easily accessible by my gas push mower. This manually operated mower serves my intended purpose. I would have preferred the same mower with a clippings basket attachment but that model was not in stock. The reels could have been sharper. They are now! Otherwise, it's sturdy and was fairly easy to assemble and put into operation.

Going old school with this one.

I wanted an inexpensive mower to get the job done until we can get our gas powered one serviced and working again. My 10 year old son is using it and I want him to know what it’s like to do some real physical labour lol he spends all his time in front of the tv.

Quite land shaver

I get a workout, but I don’t like how it misses a lot of the tall grass. I can do this even at night and it doesn’t throw the grass to the other side.

I like the lawn more is easy and fast to use!

broken out of the box

Mower unit, which comes assembled, was broken out of the box. Blades are jammed against frame and one wheel is crooked. So, neither blades nor wheels will rotate. I'm returning it immediately.

This mower is everything

I like that it cuts flawlessly. I cut front and back in less than an hour

For low grass

It doesn’t cut long grass. You have go over grass again and again for it to do a good job.

Lightweight

Mildly Effective

It works well enough, but it does not cut grass as thoroughly or evenly as a gas mower. Also, one of the wheels fell off within the first 2 weeks of use because of a loose screw which was VERY hard to tighten due to its placement behind the wheel. Luckily I found a wrench that just fit in the crevice. You might not be as lucky.

Horrible

Horrible, it kept missing about a 1/3 of the grass no matter how many times i would mow over the same area. Dont waste your money. I ended up having to return it.

Does the job

Just purchased this this manual mower. The assembly was straight forward and simple, took a few minutes. I have a small area of grass I grew over the summer and it was a little high. Started with a higher cut, lowered the cut. Did a good job. Easy to clean off.

sharp, clean cut

Quality performer (first job was a 120 x 80 yd soccer field, took this mower to it in a bind). I've been the manpower behind many a push reel mower, and this Earthwise 16-in 5 reel unit delivers as a clean a cut as I've seen. Great cutting feel from behind the mower. Solid tool.

The lowest blade setting is still an inch above my desired grass hight. I wait 2 weeks to mow and can still barely tell I even mowed. And good luck if you run over the smallest twig in your yard. Instant jam. Waste of money.
