Charge doesn't last long enough
When on Maximum, the suction is good, but the charge is way too short. It doesn't finish the job. I wish we could hook up AC to it as well.

Would RecommendI just got this a few weeks ago, and love it. Ergonomics are perfect, well balanced, easy to empty and plenty of suction. The normal mode is good for general cleaning and the max mode is great for embedded dirt. Would RecommendI had a very old Dyson hand vac that finally met its end. I ordered the car and boat to not only use around the house but in the cars and boat as well. I am very happy with its performance. No it does not last forever but it does last long enough to clean the car and the small messes around the house. I love the car attachments with the extended hose. It has been a big help to get the tough to reach spots.

Horrible battery life/charge time - to be returned
Would Not RecommendBattery life is very disappointing and there is no option to use while plugged in/charging. Used with max power and could not even vacuum half of my small car (about 18 minutes of run time with about 3 minutes using motorized head attachment). With try again (after about 5 hours to full charge) to see if results improve. You would think that Dyson would figure out a way to have better battery life. So far, I’d put it about on the same level as a dust buster - at 10 times the price!

Love my new handheld vacuum
My new Dyson hand held vacuum is great! I had an old one that lasted for years, but this one has a newer type of bin emptying system that I like. You can see the filter easier too to wipe it off. The suction seems much better and all of the attachments work great. Works good on wood floors and carpeted stairs.
