5” would’ve sufficed, but this was perfect, too
Would RecommendAs my title states, a 5” clamp would’ve been fine, but this size is all they had at Lowe’s, so I took the plunge and it worked GREAT. I used it to connect the snake exhaust pipe from the back of my dryer to the exhaust vent in the wall. The 2 pipes are not the same size, but because of the size of the clamp (the previous one was only 4.5” around) I was able to make it work, plus appliance and vent installation tape

It’s sticky and when applied correctly it woooorks
Would RecommendI liked how sticky it is and that it helped me finish off a tricky re-installation of a dryer exhaust pipe (from the dryer to the exhaust pipe). I applied the tape to the wall end of the snaking exhaust pipe. It was necessary because the pipe in the wall is bigger than the pipe from the dryer to the wall.
