Recently planted some trees/shrubs (eg, Japanese maple, citrus tree, dogwood) and excited to use these to properly get water to the roots, especially since my yard is clay based and has quite a bit of old roots from huge legacy trees. It’s also great to ensure water isn’t wasted and efficiently.

Too big for house plants

Interesting Idea

I thought it sounded like a great idea to help my plants regulate water, especially during the week when I’m working. With our very hot weather, I really hoped they would help with watering, but I didn’t really see any great difference between the planter I placed a stake in, and the other planter that had the same plants. There was perhaps a few more flowers on the geranium with the stake...
