NEED TO BE ABLE TO BUY SPARE BUSHINGS

Cut two holes that needed to be enlarged from 1 1/2" to 2 1/8" to fit new deadbolt and made the job real easy. I can see where the bushings may need to be replaced as they do show a bit of wear. Used a 1" steel rod where the deadbolt was to centre the unit worked perfectly. Also used a C clamp to prevent the unit from coming off the door. Altogether a great tool

Great product.

I've used this on hollow core door and on a solid core door and it worked very well. Yes, the hole saw does shred a bit ot the plastic but it still works quite well. Glad I bought it.

Good Enough for a quick Install

This kit is good enough to have around for deadbolt or new locks,...BUT, the plastic jig wears to fast and the drill attachments got stock often but i mean this is for household toolbox not for like a contractor kind a thing.

Worked well

This worked very well for in enlarge the hole for my deadbolt on my front door. I did experience a little bit of slippage when using, but once I used a slower technique, it worked great.

Worked as expected

I think it worked just great. I had no issues. The only reason for not being five stars is that when drilling with the guide, the edges of the guide are slightly drilled away. Because of this, I question the longevity of the guide. That being said, I would easily expect to be able to use this without issue 4 or 5 more times.

Not worth the cost

Was usefull for alignment but the hole saws were not good at all.

Perfect for installing new hardware on old door

Item arrived on time. Quality of materials was high. Instructions were excellent. Used to drill holes in a 100+ year old door and install modern hardware.

Quality jig

It’s made of good quality material. It’s easy to set up and use. I install doors for a living and this is a great addition to my tools.

Easy to use

Quality product, easy to use. The only thing that could make this better is if it came with a template for the door hinges too.

Spend the extra $$

I initially bought the irwin hole saw kit that was a couple bucks less. Needless to say it didn't hold up on the first try. I returned that and exchanged for this one...well worth the extra $5 - especially if you are enlarging a hole. For a new hole in a new door maybe the irwin will work. But, the clamping action on this model kept it in place and it worked for 3 enlarging 3 deadbolt holes. If you are drilling into metal and have more than a couple doors to do, be sure to buy an extra hole saw ...

Searched many types of hole saw jigs for door handle/lock. Took a chance with dewalt. Not disappointed in the least. Held to door firmly each time used while the hole saw enlarged the original 1 5/8 “ to the new standard 2 1/8” in seconds. I was surprised how well it cut. Have done four doors with no adverse results.
